Worker was rude and told us to leave when we were looking at things and saying hi to our friend who was working !!!! Not happy
Tried to buy one can of beer on way to work at 7.40 the rather unfriendly bloke at the til grabed it and said, i cant serve you that before 8!!, felt like a child being told off! I didn't want to be served it!! I wanted it for the next day!!! Maybe have some obvious signage of when alcohol is purchasable,shame as it is a well stocked little shop and the normal ladies are all friendly, though prices ( including fuel) are rather high!!
The store is brilliant. So much choice! From a huge range of frozen meals to treats, you can be sure you'll find something to eat or drink here. Never seen so many soft drinks options. I could get around easily in my wheelchair and was helped at the cash desk as I could not reach. Unfortunately the toilets were not great. And they really could do with making the exit and entrance to the garage one way in and one way out as getting back to the car was terrifying! We had motorbikes vs a campervan and neither could see me trying to get to the one disabled space I could see. More spaces and better signage might help. But will keep using this quaint store as it's always a favourite of the family on trips.
Been going there for 10 plus years hot food Been stone cold last 3 _4. Visits last stone cold made me ill ? Buy beware sausages mushrooms baget girl long hair served me - wont change like l said last 3-4 visit food Luke warm as for name address call in there every mon /tue not coming back to pay good money on good food thats cold. many time s now not just 1 off . all the time .
The care, service and attention from the super South African lady (Chrissy?) at the till is amazing. She earned five stars for her hard work and always providing top star service. Highly personable- give her a raise!
Twice now I have gone to use this charging point as my last client lives just down the road, and tonight I spoke with the cashier and said all I need is 30 minutes to get home please, as they turn them off at 10pm why when they should be 24 hour, and she was to busy cashing up and making sure I was using my card not cash, and this was at 9.40pm totally disgusting, I just about made it to another charging point with what I managed to get from this charging point, as at 9.58pm they turn the charging point off.
Seriously good petrol stop. Hot food, coffee, Budgens has a great selection of drink and food. It has a local butchers section and loads of other stuff. Really good
This little service station is such a refreshing change from the standard UK offering of the big corporates. The product range in the store is quite extensive, and a little different to what you'll find in other service stations. There is a nice vibe to the place and the people working there seem friendly. I am glad I discovered this place, after years of driving past without even thinking! Now it's a regular stop if I'm passing through the cross roads.
Excellent levels of service. The woman behind the till was lovely and she made a nice comment about my choice of drink matching my hoodie. I have been to this place many times and there isn't anything negative I can think of to say about it. The shop offers some ready made salads and some nice vegetables. I was in a bit of a hurry otherwise I would have purchased some. From what I could see, there were some good quality vegetables. The prices are quite fair. ***Since my first review, I have visited this place again and the members of staff were lovely. The queue to get petrol wasn't too long.***
Great service station and convenience store. Fuel prices competitive, store come mini supermarket well stocked with most everyday items from milk to ready meals. Also Starbucks along with seating area. Brilliant!
