Perfect spot for curious kids! We visited Blue Reef Aquarium recently and were really impressed. Beyond just seeing the fish, there’s a lot of great information about marine protection and habitats. It’s very educational without being boring—our 8-year-old had a blast and learned a lot. Definitely worth a visit!

Our son had his 11th birthday here. We have visited a few times as a family and always enjoyed it. The party host (Fleur) was so lovely and made the kids all feel included. Loads of knowledge and enthuisiasm which encouraged the quieter kids to be able to ask questions. Loads of cool animals to see and lots learned. The party room was a good size and the whole 2 hours was really fun, for the adults chaperoning too :) Tanks all clean and animals looked very content, we were amazed just how active they all were so there was great interactions. My boy enjoyed feeding the rays and sharks at the end too. Fleur has an interview today for being a volunteer to work with the fish, we will boycott if you don't give it to her.....jokes but she would smash it

Cute little aquarium with a surprising amount of animal life in there. And definitely some rather different life to the usual - not just an aquarium, but chameleons, otters, and so on. I love the Pacman Frog. The underwater viewing tunnel is excellent, and the otters are just adorable… Good for a 1-2 hour visit, great rainy day alternative if outdoor plans are cancelled.

Me and my husband were brought the VIP experience as a wedding present, safe to say that was money well spent! The staff there are amazing and friendly and very knowledgeable! We got to go behind the scenes and feed a variety of fish and animals! It is well worth the visit! We will definitely be back!

The most healthy aquarium I’ve seen in a while! The fish were very good and the whole space was easy to navigate. You can leave and enter at any time after buying a ticket, and there’s a cool gift shop at the end. As a fish enjoyer this was such a great experience, I recommend it.

It was a fantastic place to go if you like sea life. I’ve expected more aquatic animals inside but that’s not too bad. Had a pleasant day at blue reef aquarium.

What a great day out, located in the family friendly area of Southsea, Blue Reef is just one of many ways to spend a day, and spend an entire day there you very well could! The staff are great, the site is large and contains a fantastically diverse array of animals and the gift shop is filled with brilliant trinkets and collectibles that are almost (but not quite) as eye-catching as their real life counterparts. Ticket prices are fair and there is a cafe on-site that I've heard good things of (but am yet to try myself.) If you're looking for a way to entertain the kids, a romantic afternoon getaway or you're just someone who likes watching animals simply be, then I could not recommend Blue Reef more.

£44 for 2 adults and 2 kids for a 10 minute walk around was well overpriced. First time I've ever seen the elusive cement mixer fish as well. Place was run down, outside area was awful. On a plus the entrance staff where lovely. Wouldn't go again though, I feel sorry for the fish.

Cute little aquarium, good price but is smaller than most aquariums I've visited. Great for kids. Turtle with an attitude problem, adorable otters, fishing strictly prohibited and don't feed your kids to the sharks (it upsets their stomachs).
