This is such a great party venue. They have two halls, one larger and one smaller which are both great. There’s parking and we always enjoy performing our Magic shows and discos here. highly recommended.

Good for 150 to 200 people gathering, don't have enough parking

USE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! The Manager of this place has withheld our deposit for totally inaccurate and petty reasons! We left a bin bag handle on a cupboard door, so they ASSUMED we used the kitchen for cooking (we did not). They claimed the floor was left sticky and ASSUMED it was spilt drinks (We cleaned that floor thoroughly and it was a party the following day that reported the floor to the manager). They claimed we switched off the fridge which ruined some butter and jam (which wouldn't spoil in a switched off fridge for 24 hours). Terms & Conditions do not state anything to do with the fridge having to be left on. They made assumptions, they lied, they refused to return our £50 refund and their reasons are spurious. We argued but the trustees agreed with the manager and ignored us. They have no justifiable right to withhold our money, and this results in theft. Charity or not, be wary of hiring this hall. We left that place to an extremely high standard and were rewarded with the theft of our money. We are still pursuing this. Please see attached photo which made the manager ASSUME we used the kitchen for cooking. Detective she is not.

We recently had a children's party at the centre, the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble even though we kept changing requests right up to the last minute. After the party our deposit was returned in full promptly along with a lovely note thanking us for cleaning up so well.

Came for a comedy night. Nice large open space and small stage but it was very cold inside and I don't like how the facilities are through doors directly off the main hall.
