I have honestly no idea hows this place runs, I booked my free MOT and got charged for it even though the receptionist knew I was part of mortoring club. Left it early AM and I recieved a message saying it was ready to pick up so I rang and they had not even started it yet. they then inspected it and didn't tell me exactly what it had failed and had to check the Gov MOT site to find out. They same guy said they he could not diagnose what was wrong because other work was being done because only and MOT was booked and no work. (you always set aside diagnostic time to cost job). The work wasn't even costed until the following day and at this point I had lost a days pay because I could not get to work and they just resented speaking to me. I was then left with a huge bill because they had stripped the car but done no work so I had a bill even if no work was done (If you know what failed it you know what to charge for). After that I was overcharged again for the work because they did not apply my premium motoring club discount which they still owe £45 for. I've subsequently gone to another garage and found out that the work could have been over estimated because of "Centre policy" and the actual cost would have been much lower. You also missed a component failure on the suspension which needs replacing urgently, yiu can't even test a vehicle right. After driving for a week the work still wasn't right and holidays were approaching so I went back in to get it check booked, however, thecheck was not booked in despite saying they would when I spoke to the technician face to face. Oddly, a two weeks after driving the turbo failed yet there was no sign of failure or imminent failure and is practictally undrivable despite putting only 200 miles on it. So how hard did they rev it during the emmisions test which they did? The time before that they mispriced the work and could not even tell what engine was in my car and all the parts turned up wrong and missed my birthday outing with my fiancee ( I was told it was 1.5 hours work because it was faulty). It took half a day with a near empty garage to come up with a solution which ruined my day. The attitude of your staff is awful and disorganised and the manager just needs sacking, it's either over polite talk and not keeping to word, or resentful staff jacking up prices for profit. For the amount of money lost I could have gone to Volvo and had all the work done there and I was a regular customer, you people are supposed to be cheaper. Needless to say I will not be using you again for they next car I'm going to have to buy. I would advise all other motorists to avaoid this altogether and find another.

I booked 2 tyres online for 10am and I am warned the appointment may take longer than the 30min slot and to arrive 10 mins early. OK, fine. I arrive 10 mins early and join the queue. When served I’m advised they have problems and are busy. I ask how long it will be. They have no idea, 10 mins? 10 hours? No clue. Complete waste of my time so I cancel. Apparently it will take 3 to 5 days to get a refund. Funny how the money leave my account in 3 to 5 milliseconds? Shopped around and found Kwikfit will do it for £36 less with free fitting at home.

I had a pre-booked appointment to have a battery changed. When i asked the guy at reception were to park. I had a mechanic who decided to be rude and obnoxious and quite aggressive. Then to be told they couldnt fit it in as they were to busy. What a joke of a company disgraceful. Im glad they didnt do my repair. I will go elsewhere. Oh and by the way don't book a vehicle if you cant do the work one star is too much 22/11/25

Called at 11am. Told I could get a diagnostic on a heated seat malfunction same day. Excellent. Bring it in this afternoon. Dropped off the car at 1pm. No problem sir, will only take an hour or 2. Off I go for a lunch and a coffee. 3pm no call back. Ring them. Yes my colleague is just looking at it. We should have it diagnosed in the next hour or 2. Sorry but that's what you said when I arrived? So I walk 2 minutes to the garage. My car is in the exact same place it was parked. When I ask why I was told 1 to 2 hours wait only to have a 3-4 hour wait and why no one was looking at my car as previously reported, I was given a load of BS by a guy who was quite happy to tell me a 4 hour wait was normal for a diagnosis. When I asked if I could bring it in the day after, he tried to say "well we will try to get it done at any point tomorrow." Even if I arrived at 8am. Con artists. Don't waste your time. Couldn't even guarantee that they'd be able to supply the part and fit it. And I was meant to just accept that. Joke of a place.

Amazing. Booked MOT with these guys. Had an appointment time given, rather than waiting around all day for it to be done. Was completed in the hour. MOT passed and gave me an itemised list of thr advisories, with info on which to prioritise. Normally wouldn't go to halfords for work but honestly this garage is solid.

Service was beyond superb. It was a wheel balancing I came for, and the add on Service or counsel FOC was gratefully received.

Service and MOT carried out. No nonsense, offered to sort out the recommendation found on my MOT but when I declined they didn’t push further. Everything was straight forward.

Car dropped off for a service and mot at 8.30. Store was very busy. The manager, who was very stressed told me cars coming in for tyre repairs were halfords priority. So my car was left. I cannot say if my car was serviced correctly because the men working in the store were far to busy dealing with all the cars coming in. Got a call at 1 saying ready for collection. Turned uo to pick up my car,had to wait 15minutes for the manager to come back as the other 2 employees can not hand over car keys. Would not use again.

Full Service and MOT. Lost alignment passenger side after being serviced. Staff told me if so I had to pay the alignment . First time that happen in 11 years with this car. When asked was told that there is not a risk of this to happen when removing the wheels to check. Not sure about it as it is pulling now totally to the left side. I got a free alignment somewhere else. Hope this get solved. Headache.

Great experience at this garage. Exhaust had dropped so brought my car in and the issue was shown to me straight away. Tom was so lovely and helped temporarily fix the problem for no fee which I appreciated. I then came the following week to have my breaks done which were done in rapid time buy a rather miserable young chap but all was forgiven as I had a nice in detailed conversation with dog the bounty hunter and was in the presence of the most attractive young man. Myself and my wife will be returning!
