Great community centre that's been at the heart of Portsmouth for so long. The centre caters for sports such as indoor football 4 a side or 5 a side, badminton, karate and other indoor sport activities as well as community/social gatherings. Staff are helpful as well and parking is also available.
Nice little building. Can hire halls for parties. I used to go to play badminton as there is a sports hall, so you can do indoor football and basketball aswell. They have a vending machine if you want a snack and also has a small gym which you can pay to go to. Very convenient and has a lot of facilities.
Very friendly staff. Lots of activities something for everyone or go into the onsight cafe "chit chats" and have a cuppa and slice of Dave's homemade cake or one of his home cooked meals which are tasty and reasonably priced.
Used one of the rooms upstairs for 2 days railway training, would go back in a heartbeat,better than some of the training schools I've been in lately. Nice cafe downstairs, reasonable price but good grub 10/10.
Chit Chats cafe was recommended to me by a neighbour who works at the community centre. This morning I decided to try out the full English breakfast, wow what a little gem of a find. The breakfast was served piping hot and very well presented,i thought the food was good quality and perfectly cooked and presented. I would highly recommend having the breakfast an absolute snip at £3.95p. I will be back and hope to try out the Meal Deal of Special of the day, desert or cake, tea or coffee with free refill all for £5.50. Thank you chef for a wonderful start to my working day
