The choice was limited and the prices high. I was shopping for 2 things, if I were a local the price lift over Newry is a painful stealth tax or a reason to drive the 25 minutes each way to save on a weekly shop. Opening hours seem to be 7am to 10pm. Staff are friendly. I sadly can’t recommend it though, as a visitor advise you buy in Newry or Dundalk before you arrive.

I visited this store on my weekend break from Tyrone , I withdrew 300 euros from their cash machine and even with the sterling stronger than euro I was still charged £300 sterling and 46 pence, my Danske bank does not charge me any fees for these transactions and no one need tell me that I hit the wrong option on the screen , it was an absolute disgrace to be charged that !

I visit this Centra regularly throughout the year, usually stopping before heading out on a hike. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed the same issue every time: the shelves and fridges are often half-empty, even during busy times. Despite having plenty of staff working, the shop always feels understocked, which is disappointing considering they recently revamped the store. A little more attention to restocking and maintaining the shop would go a long way. It’s a convenient location, but the lack of availability is frustrating.

Went to buy a chicken here. I asked the guy before I left the shop if the chicken was burnt, and he insisted it wasn't. Brought the chicken home, and as you can see, it's burnt. He did refund me, but then they really shouldn't be selling this to customers at €7.85 when Dunnes sells them for around 5 euro, and they are not burnt!

Your regular everyday centra, just with a smaller selection, since it’s located in the middle of nowhere
