Staying locally and wandered up the hill from the village of Titchfield to this amazing Aladins cave. Traditional skill still going strong and antiques lovingly restored. Lynda was so helpful and knowledgeable. Lots of tips shared about the places to visit locally. Recommend coming and taking a look, invest in a piece of history that can become an heirloom to pass down the generations.
I originally came across Gaylords Antiques online and so visited their showroom. I was impressed by their extensive stock and the condition of the furniture. I subsequently spent a considerable amount of time in the showroom as Ian and Lynda were very attentive and friendly. Their knowledge was second to none. I eventually came away with a few pieces, which I am over the moon with.. I also learnt a lot during my visit.. everyday is a school day! I would recommend Gaylords Antiques to anyone looking to buy genuine, well cherished and restored antique furniture. Will be returning one day, even if just for a chat and a cuppa!
We visited Gaylord Antiques to look for a small chest of drawers which we did find and subsequently purchase. Ian and Lynda could not have been any more pleasant. They were so very knowledgeable and extremely helpful and it was a pleasure to purchase from them. The customer service was 100% but the only 'downside' is that, unfortunately, our house isn't large enough to accommodate any more items of their fabulous furniture. If you are looking for authentic antiques then I would highly recommend a visit to the showroom. I had also mentioned to Ian that I had a problem with an antique chest of drawers which I already own and he could not have been more helpful. He talked me through exactly what I needed to do and even wrote a list for me which detailed how to undertake the small repair job. This goes over and above any customer service which you would ever receive in any other store. Thank you both so very much and we will certainly purchase from you again and also recommend you to anyone we know who may be looking to purchase quality antiques. We couldn't be more happy.
My husband visited the shop today 18th Feb 2023 for some advice on an antique chest of drawers he is restoring. The shop owner was extremely helpful in this matter, giving him contact details of someone who could help him with his project.
A very good experience this month with a couple of visits to Gaylords. I now have a lovely well-priced oak chair that suits me perfectly. My husband and I received courteous and knowledgeable service from Ian and we will be back.
I came across Gaylords Antiques by chance when searching online for a hall table for my new home. The service and goods received from Lynda and her team were top notch. I not only purchased a table but also a chair and I hope to visit online again in the future. A very friendly, helpful and well run business, a great experience all round. I would highly recommend.

I have known about Gaylord's for many years but this was the first time I have been in to purchase something. Ian and Lynda were incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable not just about the furniture but about some other items we wanted to refurbish and about how to keep our new table in the best condition. Nothing was too much trouble, they even delivered the table for me. I am absolutely delighted with my new piece of furniture and will certainly be going back there.Highly recommended and I shall be telling all my friends.
