Two week brickwork course at Construction Skills College in Stoke. Great facilities. Knowledgeable tutor who is also a good teacher. The course covers a lot in those two weeks. It can be hard work at times. But everyone pulls together. For me. I learnt a lot. Enjoyed everyday. Met some great people. If you’re thinking about it. Just do it. Highly recommend.

I absolutely loved the tiling course. The instructor's expertise and passion for tiling made learning experience engaging and enjoyable. The comprehensive curriculum covered everything from basics to advanced techniques, and the hands-on training helped solidify my understanding. The course exceeded my expectations, and I'm now confident to tackle tiling projects.

I completed the kitchen fitting and electrical courses and would firmly recommend them to anyone considering improving their knowledge. The quality of the professional instruction and the opportunity to work with associated tools and numerous materials is exceptional.

really enjoyed this course. The tutor explained things clearly and were always helpful if I needed support. The practical sessions were the best part because I could get hands-on and practise the skills properly. I liked learning different types of brickwork and patterns, and it gave me more confidence in my work. The college has a friendly atmosphere, and the training was well organised. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to improve their bricklaying skills or start a career in the trade.

Recently retired from a desk job, I wanted to increase my practical skills. Initially I enrolled in carpentry and plumbing, but enjoyed them so much I ended up completing six construction skills courses here over a two year period. Learnt so much, whilst at the same time enjoyed the courses. Loads of practical hands-on training supplemented by classroom instruction. Course tutors are knowledgeable, supportive and encourage you to ask questions when you don't understand. Great banter throughout the courses. A great experience!

What a great place to learn new skills in construction. I had previously only ever patched a couple of holes in damaged plaster. My kitchen needs plastering so decided to take a course in plastering. After day 1 I was capable of plastering a wall to an acceptable standard, by day 3 I was good. Day 5 and I can plaster a ceiling. 5 more days to go (10 days in total) and I will be a self employed plasterer. The instructor (Paul) is amazing, he knows how to pass on his skill which he has many after 40 years in the trade.

I have just completed a heating and plumbing course here. I have thoroughly enjoyed it and I feel confident I can now carry out all heating and plumbing tasks to the highest standard. Steve is a great instructor, passionate about the trade and so keen to pass on his wealth of knowledge. Thanks, and, looking forward to the kitchen fitting course.
