Footdee (Fittie) is definitely worth a visit. You will love the history, architecture, and tranquil seaside charm. Its tranquillity and charming atmosphere, with well-preserved 19th-century cottages and beautiful gardens. You'll definitely have a delightful experience. It's an ideal spot for a peaceful walk, photography.

We’ve stayed here a couple of times: first time in the winter and most recently late aug/early September. It’s a gorgeous cottage in the heart of Footdee: a short walk from the harbour, beach and the promenade. It’s always very clean & the communication/help from the owners is second to none. We stayed two weeks & they refreshed the linen for us on at the end of the first week. I can’t sing the hosts’ praises enough. It’s extremely comfortable & we find it the perfect base for exploring Aberdeen and beyond or just chilling around Footdee talking to the neighbours. We think we’ve mastered the Aga now (great for toast and making the kitchen cosy!) I’ve loved both my stays here and would stay again.
