The therapist is a nurse by training and is happy to refer people to the conventional medicine where appropriate. She is very straight about the fact that it does not work for everyone but does for most people to some extent. It usually takes half a dozen sessions to find out if it is working for you and you will be given an honest report of what she has identified.
