Have spent the last 1 year and 8 months asking to be referred to gynocology following a twisted ovary that caused me dizziness, crippling pain and nausea for almost two whole weeks. was fobbed off twice by A&E and put on an 8 week wait list for a scan. Meanwhile my general health was ruined from being bed bound for over 2 weeks. and 2 years later i am still being ignored and in constant significant pain and STILL WAITING.Have been brushed off multiple times and ignored. even had a female GP tell me ‘you probably do have PCOS but i’m not going to diagnose you because there is only one medication and it hardly every works’. Pathetic. I even went for a private consult (which i can’t afford) who wore them a report explains that i do in fact have multiple cysts and likely endometriosis and yet STILL they won’t listen. Appalling service and totally disheartened by the lack of empathy from people who are supposed to care for others and help them??

I deal with a lot of GP services professionally. The Fareham Centre Practice is always highly thought of. They have been incredibly kind and helpful with my elderly mother and I can’t fault them. Additionally, they are just so kind and helpful- genuinely a rare thing these days. Thank you all for your gentle and considerate care

I have been with this surgery for a lot of years now and I think they are brilliant. All staff, from reception, through to GP’s are extremely helpful and friendly.

I've had so many serious health issues since joining this practice, Covid hospitalisation, followed by long covid, Mental health breakdown, Pulmonary embolisms and more recently heart failure. Through it all i have not been able to see a GP once. I have never seen a GP from here despite trying to book appointments. Not once has the practice checked in following a hospitalisation asking if i needed to speak to my primary helathcare provider, and when I've reached out to ask to see one, it's proven to be impossible. I've had to chase prescriptions following hospitalisation because the practice forgot to send out my prescritpitions. Had to call 111 who had no record of my recent diagnosis because practice hadn't updated anything. A bit of a shambles really. Reception is lovely though.

I visited the health centre this morning and the smiley receptionist Kirsty greeted me and whilst she didn’t have all the answers she was very helpful with what she could answer and gave me email address of who could help for everything else. It looked well organised and calm. It was a comforting environment from a surgery after a bank holiday weekend.

Nice and helpful receptionists. Doctors and nurses are pleasant and care. Doctors here have taken my concerns seriously whereas others before have shrugged them off. The reception team answer the phone promptly and do their best to help you as best they can and as efficiently as possible. I called recently and I was waiting around 5mins (which is really good) and almost as soon as I had finished speaking to the receptionist a paramedic called me. Considering how much primary care is up against it at the moment these guys do a really good job. Also really appreciate the fact they still have e-consult open when Meon do not have the clinical capacity to offer this.

I have been a member of this surgery for 30 + years and I honestly think they are the most caring, helpful GP surgery I’ve ever been registered with. Yes it’s difficult to get an appointment in terms of a long wait on the phone sometimes and the E consult service can be a little frustrating but they are both minor issues compared with the absolute dedication of the doctors, nurses, secretaries and receptionists who all do their absolute best to provide a great service in very difficult times and circumstances. The most important thing is that these doctors care and listen to their patients and I think that this practice is superb.

The doctors don’t listen, ignore half of your symptoms and don’t work with you on your care. I’ve had a number of consultations where they have given me various treatments, none of which have worked, all of which only treat one of my symptoms. When pressed about the other symptoms they flat out ignored me. It’s clear that they don’t know what’s going on but have said that I am not good enough to be referred on to someone who might. They’re too egotistical to listen to symptoms if they don’t fit what they’ve decided to label you as. Additionally on the most recent call, I had a breakdown and the doctor showed absolutely no compassion and accused me of swearing at her when I wasn’t directing anything towards her at all. It seems that they don’t care about actually helping people, only using their power over others to stroke their own egos. These doctors should not be healthcare workers

Always excellent when dealing with my elderly parents or myself. Yes it will take ages sometimes to have the phone answered because so many people want treatment, but everyone from phlebotomist, nurses, GPs, secretaries and receptionists are calm, patient and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you to them all!

Absolutely terrible. Try getting an appiintment, good luck with that. They can't even get your prescriptions correct. Trying to get through to them on the phone, make some sandwiches because you will have a long wait. If you can find another surgery then I would urge you to do so.
