   Took my son here for the first time yesterday. We had a bit of difficulty finding it as the shop sign was for an insurance company, but we asked at one of the other shops and were pointed in the right direction. The cut was great. However, we’d booked a child’s cut 5-15yo (£12.50) as my son is 15. He had an all over clipper cut with 2 guards (listed at £11.50 for adult on the booking site). I was actually charged £14.50. We were only there 5 mins as the cut was super simple, so £14.50 is very steep. Other than the over charge, everything else was absolutely fine. Quick, easy and adequate.

   Billy is a great hairdresser. Always managed to get an appointment with him. Friendly and chatty. My son lives in Mansfield and when he comes home he always gets his haircut by him. He won't trust anyone else

   After searching around hull for many months for a decent haircut after my usual barber closed ( with no luck ) I booked an appointment at wise guys cottingham rd, were I meet billy, he gave me probably the best haircut I've ever had, he listened to everything I asked for, took his time, very clean tidy and professional and a fantastic guy, so if you have tried the rest, try the best book an appointment with billy you wont be disappointed, I will definitely be returning.

   Frequently using this establishment as much as I have is a true show as to how much I enjoy getting my cut from here. I often find that I hop from Barber to Barber due to never liking my haircut to some degree. But here I have enjoyed every style I have received. The prices are very reasonable considering the economy we find ourselves in, the music choice is top tier as always. I always enjoy my chats with Billy and will no doubt be staying here for time to come.

   Billy is without doubt one of the best barbers in hull, me and my son Lloyd have been going here for 25 years now and would recommend Billy to anyone, he's a great friendly guy who always takes his time to do a brilliant professional job, have a little natter and give you a top notch haircut, definitely worthy of 5 gold stars.
