Had an emergency where had to get registered to a gp ASAP the registration can take up to 28 days however when going into the gp and explaining the situation they sped up the registration time and within 4 days I could book an appointment and get it sorted out

If I could give 0 stars I would. The Dr's are fantastic but the admin team terrible. If you can get past the admin team it's great. Admin simply refuse to listen to anything you tell them.

After being prescribed something for my 2 year old son that out of stock nationwide and being told I have to get pharmacy to email saying it's out of stock and what they would recommend a replacement. I go to the pharmacy who say they are not doctors and not allowed to recommend replacement it has to come from the doctor. Call up and reception stand by they need pharmacy to do it. Don't even let me speak to a doctor. "Is everything ok ?" No its not its now 4 days later and I can not get hold of anything for a unwell 2 year old and your not helpful. Aweful aweful service.

I put a repeat prescription in at Drs on 29th 5.30pm and it’s now the 4th and still No prescription signed today. I was told that it would be signed yesterday by end of practice. Now awaiting end of practice today. Gabapentin is not a tablet that you can just suddenly stop. I have been with this practice for 20 plus years and I can honestly say in all the years never have I had a problem like this. The staff tell you they cannot interrupt the Doctor to get it signed off even tho it’s a controlled drug and you cannot get it on emergency prescriptions from nhs 111. What has happened to this GP surgery?

Best drs we've ever had. Dr Gregg was brilliant. We now have Dr Walls who is the best drs I've ever had! Kind, takes you seriously, has time to listen. These days it's a phone call and then they arranged to see you if they need to which I think is good. They speak to more people this way and weed out minor issues. Reception staff are good too. Don't try to diagnosis you, or ask too much personal info and not pushy like some practises.

Had an appointment for 11am, got there about 20 minutes early. Waited until 11am, people coming and going. 11:10 I went to check if I was booked in. Yep all good. I waited until 11:30. Went back to reception. Apparently the nurse was still busy. Bye.... apologize? Nope nothing. What a joke! Terrible surgery!

This used to be a great practice and it wasn't long ago I was singing their praises to others, however they are now no different to all the other below average practices around. I needed a letter of medical evidence to prove to my income protection that I have been ill and was told that this isn't possible. My income protection will only accept my claim with a GP letter which is fair enough to prevent false claims. The receptionist was fairly dismissive and pretty much asked me to hang up 'because it's Monday morning and I'm busy'. I was only offered the chance to call again specifically on a Wednesday as 'my' GP works on that day - I was not allowed to see any other GPs despite never having seen this GP in the past 5 years. The system is a shambles and this practice is now clearly falling into the black hole that is NHS primary care. I work in healthcare too and I'd be ashamed if this is how my patients were treated.

My family keeps on getting registered with terrible GPs here, they never listen to what we have to say, our symptoms are dismissed or ignored completely. Misdiagnosed problems every time, the GPs simply do not care about my families well-being at all. The only saving grace is that all the other staff are competent.
