Amazing campsite. My family and some other relatives were meant to stay for only 3 days, but stayed there for 1 week! If you camp,it only costs 39 pounds for one day! Also,if you are enjoying it,you can add more days to stay if you’d like! The facilities are awesome.they have an abundance of showers for males and females, where the water is hot at all times! They even have a washing utility and if you need water,no problem! There are water taps everywhere if you are thirsty.Needing a good campsite? Come to Scott’s Farm!

Great campsite. Lots of space and food location. Plenty of loos and showers. Just the job for a weekend away and so good that you don't have to leave first thing in the morning.

A real mixed bag here. My parents arrived before us and wanted to pay for our pitch but were not allowed to as we weren't there. Then they got talking to some neighbours who were pitching a tent on the pitch next to their van and they said it was for their daughter arriving later....so how come they were allowed and not us? Then a member of staff came and told me dad he would have to pay £39 a night extra for a tiny bike tent that was by the van. So he took it down. Seriously there were BBQ setups that were bigger than this tent, how can they justify an extra £39 for a little tent clearly not big enough to be slept in when a full size awning attached to a caravan taking up half the pitch is only £5 a night? A really sad experience that has meant after a good few years of my parents staying at Scott's farm they will no longer be visiting. Like others have said, if your face doesn't fit, they will have it in for you. It really put a downer on the weekend. For the cost of the pitch, one would expect the toilet disposal area to be unblocked, and the toilets to be well stocked with toilet roll. However, I will say it was very clean in the loos and showers most of the time, and the pitches are a really good size and it was quiet considering the enormity of the site!

I paid £42.00 for a roof tent and awning and an additional £37.00 for a small 2 man tent. This was the basic package and was located in a boggy windswept field. Not a pleasant stay and won’t be returning.

This is our favourite place,,we try to stay here 3/4 year, love every thing about this site, the staff are so helpful, but the best thing is they care about pensioners giving a good deal mid week, which we very much appreciated ,can’t wait to come again this year, Bernard & Sharon Hanson

What a nightmare place… The shower facilities where appalling at best. We stayed for two nights, first night the water just about came out the shower head and was scolding hot, not just my opinion as I could hear people left and right in the shower cubicles saying the same exact same thing. Second night off to the showers and they decided to do the cleaning in one shower block at 7pm… WHO DOES THAT AT THE BUSIEST TIME OF DAY. When in the queue at the other block a man comes out after 30 seconds and says don’t bother With that one as there’s hardly any water coming out so I left it in offered it to other people in the queue and no one else wanted it either, when the next one came available further down I entered undressed press the button for the shower and lo and behold the water dribbled out so I had to have a shower standing 2 to 3 inches away from the wall to be able to get under the water that was dribbling out an absolute joke and the same again it wasn’t just me I could hear everyone else shouting in the block that the same thing is happening to them absolute disgrace. £35 a night camping and you can’t even have a resemblance of a shower. Both nights the noise was horrendous, it was as if everyone Knew it was like it there so everything carried on. There were supposed to be no groups but there were 5 family sized tents together in like a circle with a table set like a banquet table and banging out loud music from what must have been an almighty sound system. We were kept up both night nights getting the odd hour before being woken up again. People packed up and moved right to the other side to get away from it all good luck with that. Look forward to the owners excuses In their response if I have one. In the spirit of giving credit where due, I’ll just add my wife just said to say the washing up facilities were fabulous. Also the young man in reception was extremely polite.

We have had a fantastic 5 days camping at Scott’s farm and would have loved to stay for another 5 days if it wasn’t for work commitments. I don’t often write reviews but felt like I had to after reading some of the negative comments. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman on check in. He was very welcoming and friendly. He provided a map of the site and gave us multiple locations to choose from. He asked if we wished to camp near to anyone that we were meeting but it was just myself, my partner and our dog. We agreed that as we didn’t have children it would be quieter for us to camp away from the children’s park. The site is very large so the pitch felt private and quiet. No issues with noise. Never had to queue for a shower or a toilet as there were lots available. Great facilities such as the mobile phone charging lockers. Brilliant location. 2 Shops in walking distance to top up food and drink supplies. Pub also in walking distance. We would recommend the site and hope to return again.

I had a really lovely and enjoyable experience at Scott’s farm. They have a nice play area for kids to play in. The toilets are really clean even when it’s raining! The town nearby is very nice. Staff were very helpful with giving information about the local area and they were very polite. I think the prices are very fair! A very good place for a family holiday.
