Extremely friendly hosts, were very welcoming and went out of their way to make my stay a pleasant one. Would definitely stay there again!
Had a nice couple of day at this guest house. Karen was a lovely host, nothing to much trouble for her. The room we had was on the front. Nice size so was bathroom. Karen dosnt do breakfast as such but she does great breakfast sandwiches. Hopefully get back there soon. Thankyou Karen & Pete , room 2
We chose this guest house solely from ratings from other customers and on location (12 minutes walk from my brother's house where we spent Christmas day). Very friendly and accommodating landlady. Clean and well equipped room. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast delivered to our door. A couple of "even better ifs". Worth checking which room has the biggest ensuite if you get a choice and also maybe bring your own blackouts if you like it really dark.
I spoke to Karen directly from their website, which made things simpler for me. She is very friendly. It is a great location close to the beach, with quite a few choices for restaurants within walking distance. There was a fabulous shoe shop called The Shoe Deck, 20 minutes away, with the ocean alongside for the entire walk. I felt safe here as a single traveler. The room and bathroom are very clean with TV, wifi, coffee maker, and supplies. I would say excellent value for the money, including breakfast served in your room, which I loved!
Karen was the perfect hostess. The room was both clean and comfortable. Very trustworthy lady giving us the pass code together the key to let ourselves in whilst Karen was visiting her 90 year old mother. Cheapest of all the places that we stayed on our tour of the south coast, but not in the quality of service.......Top notch! Lovely place!!

Not impressed still on covid restrictions so no dining room and take away breakfast. To be fair though a good reduction was made to the bill for missing breakfasts which helped out having to go out to eat thanks for that

My parents stayed at Avon Manor Guesthouse for 4 days and really enjoyed their stay. Karen, the lady who owns the guesthouse is superb and welcoming. It is a great location within a short walk from the beach front and amazing views over to the Isle of Wight. I would definitely recommend stayed here.
