The online service is as frustrating as the telephone service….ive tried several times to make an appointment after answering all the mostly irrelevant questions I receive a text informing me that I need to attend a and e….ive not had an accident or have a life threatening condition. I just want to talk to a doctor about my various symptoms and what their cause may be…. It would appear that this service is no longer available at this practice Mean time I am in so much pain that I don’t want to live any longer…. On your conscience be it

My father's carer tried to phone the practice this morning on behalf of my 91 year old dad who has developed a swollen face and feet. She waited and waited and waited in a queue. She eventually got through, only to be cut off. No one tried to call back. Communications with this practice are extremely difficult/ impossible for my very elderly father and even for his much younger carers.

Dont think they will even see this review but there new online appointment system is worse than there phone call at 8am in the morning at least with phoning i could possibly get a appointment or call for that week. They should bring back walk in appointments most of the time i go in see very few people in there waiting room not busy looking at all. But anyway after figuring out how to do the online appointment making i have learning difficulties so was hard for me figure out even had to ask staff when at the doctors giving a re subscription for my medication a few times for help. All i could see when doing it online after doing the tedious unhelpful and confusing questionnaire is a appointment after 3 week. Its stupid i dont want one after 3 weeks i wanted one for the week i do it the staff are friendly when there and so are the doctors as well. I went in with re subscription for a inhaler i was having hard time breathing so they sat me down and had my subscription rushed through to get it that was good but other than this the whole appointment system and appointment availability need re doing.

The new online system for booking appointments makes it even harder. I was told to e mail re changing pain meds after wrist fracture surgery and then got an e mail back saying they couldn't do that without seeing me. I went through the booking system to be told there was nothing for 48hrs. I ticked to say I could wait for an available appointment, and heard nothing back over a week later. I have been left in severe pain, not sleeping. I also went for advise a few days after surgery when experiencing chest pain and a numb leg. The receptionist told me i should book an appointment online. I was crying saying I just wanted to know I was safe (worrying about possible blood clot), she sent me away, saying she couldn't help me. Where is the compassion for another human being in distress??

Unbelievable I was offered SSRI (anti depressants) by a member of the admin staff who did not even know what they were. I was expecting a call from a Dr to discuss changing my HRT but they were too busy. Different HRT was also an option but the person who phoned was not medically trained so was unable to answer my questions. I was advised to fill out the online form to make another appointment, really I already waited 3.5 weeks for the Dr to phone me , another week for a blood test and then for the results. Your system doesn't work. You can't treat patients like that. Surely a Dr should discuss a medication change with you.

Best GP practice I’ve been to , changed from a different one that was shocking! I have nothing but absolute praise for the care , kindness and consistency of consideration shown to myself and my partner since joining the practice ! Thorough friendly doctors, when they book an appointment for you they keep it !! Unlike the previous practice, I’d like to sincerely thank each and every one of them for all their hard work in these really difficult times . Massive thanks for superb service !

Like so many can't get an appointment even if wait on phone from 8am and still be told all gone. Have just put a complaint in as did an e consult what a joke 10 days later all I got was a txt msg how rude disrespectful and unprofessional and to be fobbed of to someone else not even a dr

I have been with the surgery for more than 5 years. Last 2 years things have drastically declined. Less service and more work for me. I may call 2/3 times out of a year max. Reception use to be able to read notes about test results now I have to book an appointment call at 8am. God forbid you call at 8:02 and after a 30+minute hold to be told, all appointments are booked call back at 2, no apologies or concerns when you say you’ve been waiting for 30 minutes, but a response of you should call at 8!!! Get blood tests done and no response from drs for months and then to find out I unfortunately have to call at 8am and book an appointment. This is the tip of the iceberg not to mention other procedures they let me down in!

I think this practice takes things they consider priority seriously but if you have anything out the normal, they treat it as routine. My partner has had severe issues that affect her mobility and wellbeing but they consider her issue routine and treat her as a nuisance. This is due to their staff having to put more than 5 mins worth of effort into her case. I would recommend if you're going with this practice to think carefully, they are oversubscribed and are clearly trying to fit patients into 5 minute chunks. I've since has to signup to vitality as it's so bad so don't be me

Good golly if I could give no stars I would. I’ve been with this practice since March and have had to make three formal complaints and contact my MP for help since joining. I’ve been accused of drug seeking behaviour when in fact I have a chronic pain condition, told I’m a “doped up 30 year old” when I have a slipped disc and degenerative condition and just needed help, and when I have complained, rather than the surgery actually trying to rectify their mistakes. I have been told to “just go elsewhere”. The reception staff and admin team need to get on the same page because I’ll be told two different things at some times, and you’ll make an appointment to SPEAK to a GP and instead get a text message with a diagnosis on it when no one has spoken to you. They’re lazy, rude and the worst dang practice I have EVER been to, and I’ve been to a fair few. Go elsewhere, because this practice is appalling. I’ll be moving practice after my next appointment.
