What an absolutely wonderful space to escape the chaos of life. Nestled right at the foot of The Mournes, with breathtaking views of the mountains, private hot tubs, wonderful access to hiking, cold water swimming this is an encounter with nature at its finest. The cosy cabins are rustic and enchanting and peaceful. A wonderful place, with wonderful hosts.

I waited to write this review after our 3 week trip because I had a feeling this was going to be my favorite. Cozy, charming, and peaceful atmosphere. The attention to detail really shows how much love Ciara and Derek put into their property. Will gladly return!

A last minute getaway for us and it didn’t disappoint. The views are just beautiful and the hosts are so welcoming, friendly and very helpful with making the most of our stay. We love the rustic unique vibe this place brings. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing time away I highly recommend it. We will certainly be back. Everything was just perfect! Thank you Derek and Ciara for making our stay amazing.

We absolutely loved our stay at Willowtree for our anniversary. The Goldfinch room is just beautiful — so thoughtfully done, and the view from it is incredible! We especially enjoyed the hot tub and how peaceful and remote everything felt. Waking up to the stunning views of the Mourne Mountains was such a treat. Ciara and Derek were wonderful hosts — so kind and welcoming. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing, romantic getaway. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay at Willowtree, we stayed in the Goldfinch cabin which was superb, our hosts were friendly and helpful, the cabin was perfectly presented and we have no reason to moan about any part of our stay. (Well maybe the NI Weather) but the hot tub really offset the freezing January temperatures. Brilliant!

We had an awesome experience. Although our visit was in November, we stayed in The Wren log cabin which was surprisingly warm and cozy and having the hot tub and nice warm shower meant we where kept warm our whole stay. We had 2 dogs with us who loved the nice open layout of the site. Although our booking was last minute, Ciara and Derek couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming, making sure we knew they where right there if we needed anything and even went out of the way to take interest in what we had planned and offered helpful advice to compliment our plans with their local knowledge. Only down the road from Newcastle, the location is ideal aswell. Very quirky fun experience with a great balance of being back to basics while having many modern comforts with each accommodation being unique to the others...Highly recommended!!

Fantastic place to stay near the Mourne Mountains. Very clean, had everything we needed to make our stay memorable. Hosts Derek and Ciara went out of the way to make us feel at home and make sure we had everything we needed. So cozy, amazing views and hot tub was a joy after a big hike! Thank you!! Looking forward to trying out one of the other cabins next trip!

We stayed in the GoldFinch cabin and our stay was absolutely brilliant. The views are beautiful and the hot tub and fire pit were a luxurious bonus! The cabin itself was beautiful and so much attention to detail. And the main selling point = dog friendly! We will definitely be back it was great! Thank you!

We had a fantastic trip from start to finish. We stayed in the Kingfisher cabin. It was beautiful and spacious. Outside we had a wood burner where we could sit and relax in the evenings and take in the beautiful views! The hot tub too was a was fantastic treat. It was great that wee could bring the dog with us too. We went for a swim in Dinney Water, and a lovely hike around the Silent Valley. We can't wait to come back again.
