   Attended the beauty course from September 2024 to May 2025. I can honestly without doubt not recommend this college one bit. The tutor Gemma was rude, unprofessional, impatient and inhospitable. The members of my class were not much better. The security act cocky and arrogant like they’re protecting the crown jewels or something. People park in disability bays with no blue badges displayed. Reception staff are obnoxious. Believe me the list goes on. My advice to anyone is search for another college.

   A good college with high quality teaching and a good range of courses. Although one of the staff made a rather unnecessary comment towards me about a kind act I was doing which is my only complaint.

   I do not recommend this institution if you want high quality teaching and to learn in a safe and ethical environment. The total disregard for students and curriculum was demonstrated by the Level 2 NCFE Certificate in Art and Design. I wished to gain a repertoire of skills from the course, but the tutor Malcolm Hague, despite future faking the potential of the course for the first class, left us to languish in the ceramics department for the entirety and didn’t teach us anything beyond the first few sessions in ceramics. I persisted with the ceramics until the tutor yelled at me over the motor noise of the ceramics wheel with his back to the other students. When I alerted the college to this tutor’s conduct they did nothing.

   Enrolled our son with autism on a course here. Last minute the day before and the college went out of their way to ensure he could start. The support has been excellent, every staff member including tutors have been so helpful and kind. I could not ask for a better experience to date and our son seems to be really enjoying his course. He's been introduced to on site clubs, student support services to provide him with additional support needed. Also all staff have made time to talk to parent carers with initial queries and ongoing support. Thanks for all the support to date and I think this is excellent, a credit to your college supporting those that need the extra help to ensure they can equally access and obtain further education.
