My 3 stars are based on my experience whilst visiting the theatre - not the show or the venue. The Adelphi Theatre itself is a lovely venue, but not so great were some of the audience who obviously do not know how to behave in the theatre. I had paid for a top priced seat in the stalls, because I like to have a good view of the stage and the actors. I’m assuming the people in the row behind me had also paid a premium for their seats. But once the show had started two guys began shouting loudly and having a full on conversation! This went on for some time before I turned around and used some quite colourful language to shut them up. They then left during the interval. Sat directly behind me was a mother and grown up daughter also talking loudly during the show. I turned around and stared at them until they stopped. Regardless of how much I paid for my ticket, I should be able to enjoy the show without being disturbed. It completely spoiled the whole experience for me, as all I could hear were these ignorant idiots who had absolutely zero consideration for the actors, the production, or other theatre goers. To be honest this is why I generally avoid going to see musicals, as unfortunately this is how most of the audience behaves. Just looking through the other reviews on here you can see that people have taken photos during the performance itself - which is proof of their selfishness and lack of respect. The show probably would have been quite enjoyable if I hadn’t been so distracted by the noise. The first half dragged a little, but the second half was fabulous. I can’t say that I would recommend going to see the show, as my experience was not a positive one.

I chose this musical for the experience that I was going to relive the time that I first watched Back to the Future and oh my goodness I was in for such a sweet treat!!!! The nostalgia came flooding back, the effects were electric and so captivating, everything is done according to how the movie went and I was all here for it! All the musical numbers were catchy and super energizing, and I loved Doc and Marty!!! Definitely see this show!!! It’s a must-watch time travelling masterpiece!!!!!

Went to the Adelphi Theatre for Back to the Future the Musical on Saturday 13th September 2025, starring Brian Conley as Doc Emmett Brown. Was in the Dress Circle at the time. Not much leg room as I recall. The view was decent. You are not allowed to take photos or videos during the performance but is ok in the time before, at the interval and after the show. I went to the bar when thirsty at the interval and got a bottle of Coca Cola for around £4.60. At the end they had crates to dispose of rubbish like the empty bottles. Show started around 7:35pm. Interval after 9pm. Show ended sometime after 10pm that evening. If you arrive early, there is time to walk to the Thames via the Victoria Embankment. Even then, once seated, you have to wait half an hour or so for the show to start. I left my backpack at the hotel, only had my camera and camera bag on me.

Watched Back To The Future The Musical on a Saturday night. We were sat on the right side of the dress circle at the front, when booking it says these seats have a restricted view because of a railing (which you might be able to see on the picture) but it didn’t restrict my view at all. The seats were comfy and they have booster cushions for smaller people. The toilets are quite small and there was a mad rush to them at the interval meaning a long queue. The musical itself was brilliant! The cast and staging/backdrop detail was great! I would highly recommend!

We saw Back to the Future here in October 2022 and it was brilliant. We loved the show. We sat in the front of the Dress Circle and had a great view onto the stage. The cast, songs, sets and special effects are amazing. They added nice touches to the theater for the show, like the Plutonium Bar, giant clock, posters and signage. Seats were comfortable. Wonderful experience and a great night out.

We went to see Back to the Future the musical. What a wonderful experience, the staff were friendly and helpful, there is a good selection of drinks and snacks. The show itself is amazing. The actors were all fantastic, the songs fit really well, the effects used were really impressive. A must see if you love Back to the Future and enjoy musicals.

So much energy and fun. Exactly what back to the future should be. You can see the actors are having a blast. What was incredible were the costume changes after each musical performance was crazy. Marty nails it and Doc is incredible and makes it his own. Loved it
