   Since Amelie and Lucy joined the reception team at Spaces, the atmosphere has completely changed for the better. They’re always welcoming, genuinely helpful, and you’re met with a smile every time you walk through the door. I’ll be honest — before they came in, I was seriously considering leaving. The difference they’ve made is huge. The space now feels positive, well-run, and somewhere you actually enjoy working from. Any issue that has arisen has been dealt with quickly and professionally, which makes a massive difference day to day. They’re a real credit to Spaces and have made a huge impact in a short space of time. It definitely hasn’t gone unnoticed.

   Beautiful Space, Great Service & Convenient Location! Had a fantastic experience at Spaces Whitley — the centre is beautifully designed with stylish, modern decor that creates a professional yet comfortable environment. The meeting rooms are dressed to impress, making it an ideal spot for client meetings or team sessions. There’s also a great variety of parking options, which made the visit even more convenient.    Have used a few IWG sites, this one was the best yet. Used the meeting room which had all the equipment we needed, and the on-site Deli meant we didn't have to extend our day going out for lunch. Food and drinks were amazing. Definitely recommend for your next meeting room.

   Oh - where to start. If you’re looking for co-working space I have one word for you about SPACES. RUN! Want to know more? Here goes: I moved into a private office in October 2021 having been sold the dream by Brandon. Would there be networking sessions and community events? Of course. Would I have a private space to work? Yep - no problem. As soon as I moved in the problems started. On Day 1 my neighbours told me there was a noise problem but that the centre knew and it was being worked on. Several toilets out of order for weeks, the dishwasher door on Floor 1 randomly just falls off in your hand (this has been reported many times), hand towel dispensers fall and hit you in the face, the building temperature is ALL OVER THE PLACE - I kid you not… the list goes on but let’s cut to the real problem. Privacy - or rather the total lack of it. Want to know what salaries are up for grabs at the moment? I can tell you. Interested in the finer details of other people’s divorces? I can give you the low down on that too. In short - the noise pollution in the building is beyond a joke. The centre staff have tried to fob me off that it’s a new problem but if you check other Google reviews - that’s lies. It’s been going on for well over a year and is going to take more than a few white noise machines to resolve. They’ve admitted offices aren’t fit for purpose - you can even hear people typing in other offices (and we’re not talking old fashioned typewriters)! I was told it would be fixed over Christmas. More lies. After trying to prevent me escalating the complaint they finally deigned to let me see the regional/area manager (don’t know which as he didn’t introduce himself properly) who has to be the most arrogant and contemptuous person I’ve dealt with in a very long time. They’ve told me it “might be between 6 weeks and 6 months, they don’t know” while the shrugging and body language also told me - they don’t care. Apparently there’s nothing they can (or will) do about the fact they’re taking money under false pretences for a private office that is anything but private. They won’t move me to a quieter place in the building, negotiate an early exit or reduce my rent to compensate for the situation. But more than anything - they approach the problem with arrogance, lies and contempt for their customers. How I wish I had checked Google reviews before I’d signed. So I repeat myself. If you are considering renting space at SPACES - please think again. There are SO many better options out there run by small businesses who value your custom and will treat you with respect. ** And then they post a generic response to your review saying "we'd like to help you resolve the situation, please raise a case in your account" when you've already escalated the problem and been met with a brick wall!! Absolute shambles!
