   I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here, not interested in helping you at all. I came to collect my Amazon parcel from them, and they told me that the machine is not working and told me to come the following day. I came the following day, and the same response saying to come next day.

   Budgens is part of the Tesco's group via the Booker Group ownership. The shops tend to be in areas with less to spend but their prices tend to be higher. I visited as was walking past and bought a few items for my mid day snack. All had good shelf life and the cake tasted very nice. The quality of the stuff I bought was fair but would not do a major shop here. Staff helpful and polite but I preferred it when it was a Sainsbury's who bought out the local retailer Jackson's.

   Some of the staff try to get you to buy food & reduced stuff which you don't want. Be very careful when purchasing products as they are charging you an extra 40/50 pence more. Than what the price ticket states on the shelves.

   No stock rotation, we have bought nuts, crisps, fruit and milk which have been out of date. The nuts was eight months out of date!!! Also bought cheese and onion rolls which turned out to be sausage rolls. The ladies who work there are always polite. The men are rude and ignorant, even to the delivery drivers.

   I use this shop often as its local to me. But recently I am thinking of taking my custom else where Because the staff, minus one lovely lady called Jenny are all rude as hell. God knows how they got a job in customer sales when they cant even crack a smile. The men that work here are constantly on their phone on facetime with their headphones in while serving you, this is the managers that do this. Great example they are setting to their staff and not even acknowledging their customers. Only good thing about this shop is they have decent prices on certain products and always have deals on.

   Went into this Budgens about 15 minutes ago to get a few items. The gentleman who served me had airpods in his ears and was clearly talking to someone on the phone while serving me. I had to ask him twice for a bag. I asked him not to put my drink in the bag and physically moved it back a little to clarify, but he still took the drink and put it in the bag. He asked me if I wanted a receipt, after saying something to his mate on the phone, and I said "I'm alright, thanks" - and then he gave me my receipt. He wasn't overtly rude and I still got my items, no issues with the products themselves, but the fact that he was having a conversation while serving me was quite frustrating. Please don't have your airpods in/be on the phone while serving or helping customers, thank you.
