We attended our second training session today with Steve & wow what a difference we have seen with our dog Myla already! Steve is a great trainer, very honest and really supports the dogs and humans to get the best results! Would 100% recommend and cant wait to see how Myla will be after more sessions!
I have been to many dog trainers in the last 40 years, some good, others not! Steve is right up there with the best. He has worked with me over the last 6 months in order to understand the issues with my Boston Terrier and to educate me in ways to help my reactive and over excitable dog. Together we have made fantastic progress. Steve takes time to watch your interactions with the dog, the dogs interactions with others, both human and canine, and from that advises and implements methods to improve behaviour both from the handler and the dog. Nothing but praise from me and I'm looking forward to the next 6 months and beyond!
We came to Steve’s training sessions with a very nervous and dog-reactive dog, , and we were feeling a bit nervous ourselves. Steve immediately put us at ease, gently easing us into the training in a calm and supportive environment. The sessions have already made both us and our dog feel more confident, and it’s been amazing to see the progress in such a short time. We’re really looking forward to continuing our training journey with Steve!
We can’t recommend Crossroads enough. The team worked hard to find the right group for our boy and he absolutely thrives at daycare. Finding somewhere that we trust was so important and we are confident he is extremely well cared for and loved throughout the day. We pick up a very happy boy at the end of the day (he doesn’t usually want to come home!) Thank you Crossroads!
Can’t praise this place enough. Steve’s training sessions are a pleasure to go to. I’ve owned dogs all my life but the last two have been the best trained thanks to Crossroads. What Steve teaches really works. He makes total sense when he explains why your dog reacts in a certain way and how to resolve any issues. Makes such a difference when you can be confident your dog will listen to you and is under control when out walking, and this is for a Maremma which are notoriously stubborn independent breeds.

Yes. Very good. NOT for my dog, he's NEVER been kennelled. I picked up 2 pomeranians who stay there regularly. Lovely that kennels were open for 3pm on Queenie's Day. My dear friends were flying back from Iceland - so got B+B boyz for their return. Guy who updated me on their stay - lovely. Owner/boss, not my cuppa Tea - howsoever - she maybe great with dogs xx
My dog Archie has been going there regularly since he was a puppy he is now 6years old he is well looked after and the kennels are very impressive. I won't say he loves it there but I have to do the best I can for him as I travel quite often
Started taking my dog training at Crossroads nearly a year ago, Steve is great and has given me the confidence to train my dog, with fantastic support and always ready with advice when we’re having an off day, really couldn’t ask for more. Both our dogs have just stayed in the kennels for a weekend again nothing to much trouble, no problem in getting an update on how they were as it was their first time in kennels, fantastic team all round. Will never go anywhere else as I know that whatever we are doing be it training or kennels both me and the dogs are in safe hands
