   First time using Opal Travel - had a weekend trip to Sandown, IoW, booked as a group of 34 via our social club. Really enjoyed the weekend. Nice comfy coach and our driver was chatty and did a great job driving us around over the whole weekend. The hotel was really good, very warm, and the owner was very welcoming and helpful. Lovely staff, also helpful and always smiling! Enjoyed the entertainment each evening. Our only issue was that water pressure for showering could have been better, but that was a minor thing and I think we all managed! Will definitely use Opal again.

   Have just come back today from 5 days in Blackpool. Tiffany's hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. Our coach driver, Danny, was lovely, always cheerful and making us laugh and so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble - a definite asset to Opal Travel.

   What an absolutely awful weekend. The food was like cardboard. The room was small only had 6 inches between the bed and wardrobe. Only one drink at a time and my husband couldn’t get me a drink as I had to get my own. The entertainment was cancelled. The times were all changed from our confirmation email. I have given one star as you can’t give a minus star. Curtains had cigarette holes in them. Breakfast was the best meal.    The lady who helped with our booking for Abba Voyage in London was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble . We were so pleased we went there that day as very few tickets were left . We were booking for 4 and our coach seats are near the back of the coach and straight across. Hopefully we will also be able to sit together in the Arena. Thank you Opal Travel .

   After booking a weekend break to Weymouth we had it cancelled with opal saying that this hotel no longer took opal bookings .so l phoned the hotel myself and was told that opal had cancel opal had cancelled. So they sent us to torquay instead l won't be booking with them again

   A coach party of us have use returned from The Isle of Wight where we used your wonderful partner team Bernard (Bert) and Sue. This is the third time we have had the pleasure of their company. Bert is an excellent driver and Sue ensured that we had team coffee and water on the coach. They are absolutely a great team we even request them when we travel and are all relieved when they are our team. They are a pair well worth the mention as our holiday wouldn’t be complete without their pleasant demeanour and expertise. They took us on wonderful excursions and were very knowledgeable of the areas. I had a fall down rather a steep flight of stairs whilst at the hotel and the hotel staff themselves were of no assistance at all, but Sue on the other hand, was there to help and assist. She supplied Witch Hazel and pads and was so helpful that I just want to say a very big thank you to her. What more can I say, they are a credit to your team. Christine Plumpton
