   This is our 3rd year in a row of traveling from Newfoundland Canada to N Ireland. Each year Kilkeel has been our final round. The term hidden gem is often over used, but this is a course to go out of your way to find. At the the base of the Mourne mountains the views are outstanding, the course is mature and well tended. Angela and her staff are so welcoming. Make NI your next golf destination and make sure Kilkeel is on you itinerary.

   I played the course yesterday for the first time, we were a two ball and arrived late due to road works, but it wasn't a problem at the pro shop, the lady in charge said it wasn't a problem as there was no one behind us. With the pressure off we thoroughly enjoyed an enjoyable round on a well manicured course, with fast greens. the rough was easy which meant only a few lost balls!!!! We took a cart and made it round in just over 3 hours in stunning sunshine. i would recommend this as a fun enjoyable woodlands course for a high handicappers. Low handicappers would probably find it an easy course, but the scenery & condition will be enjoyed by everyone.

   I played with an American friend on a glorious day when the views were stunning. The course was in immaculate condition, challenging but fair. Greens were good for the time of year. This has to be one of the best value courses anywhere at 35 for 18 holes and 25 for a buggy. Impressive clubhouse and friendly staff in proshop and bar.

   A very very good golf course and presented in excellent condition. Great views from every hole with the Morne mountains as a backdrop. Fiona in the shop was most helpful and extremely helpful.

   Always friendly. The food is excellent. The dining room could be better decorated and furniture upgraded, it feels like s canteen which is a pity because the food deserves better surroundings. Golf course is an excellent parkland. Deserves a visit.
