   Excellent and - most important - very fresh fish. Also excellent anciliary products like parallel strip-cut scotish smoked salmon in vacuum packaging and (probably the best) fish soup in pouches from France, Perard brand. A store to recommend and a big plus to make East and West Wittering pleasant places to live !

   I ordered a whole salmon, a week ago. When I arrived at the shop I live approx 6 miles away, I was told that it had just been filleted. And in their second box the salmon had arrived filleted. The sales assistant said he would reduce the price for the 2 sides as he had made a mistake, he quoted normal price £90, reduced £70. Looking on their website- salmon side filleted £35. Something very fishy about their pricing, it will be Waitrose from now on.

   Well, the fish speaks for itself so I can’t fault that. I was charged per scallop and per prawn, discovering there was a prawn short once home.. which agreed, isn’t the end of the world but I paid for it and felt dissatisfied with my evening because I had to forgo my prawns. Anyhoo, I thought I’d just bring it to their attention. Well, the response I got was shocking. I was told told they don’t charge for any fish individually (erm, but they did), dismissing me like a naughty school child. After pointing out that she was incorrect since I’d not only bought prawns per item, but scallops too! This was the final response to the above which I signed off as disgruntled. Morning Sorry you feel this way. We always strive to give our customers the best experience and to keep them happy. Thanks Talk about super arrogant and supercilious I am that customer and you nicked £1.50 off me and ruined my treat. I’m not sure if they would be so dismissive if we all go and order an extra prawn, refusing to pay and walk out…… Yeah, exactly. My £ means as much to me as yours do to you. Just appalling guys.

   As a pre-birthday bash, we had an amazing trip out with Adam. Knowing full well that if the weather turned, we would still be heading out in the rain. But we were blessed with such fine weather conditions and with such a knowledgeable man, telling us stories of old as we went on our search for the Seals. Thank you Adam for such a pleasurable trip.

   Very disappointed, had originally booked a day trip out and it was cancelled due to “people dropping out” but we decided to perceiver with the 1/2 day trip which was our only option as my dad was only over for a short time. It was not as advertised - Our half day sea fishing trips allow both experienced anglers and beginners to experience the fun of sea fishing in beautiful Chichester Harbour. Something Fishy can offer morning, afternoon or evening fishing trips. Setting off from Chichester Marina, where free parking is available just a few metres from the jetty, Adam and his team can supply rods, bait and tuition if required. What will I catch? Mackerel - May to September Bass - July to November Smooth-hound - Mid April to late August Blonde Ray - Spring and Autumn Conger - May to October Plaice - July to October Bream - April to June Tope - mid May to mid July Cod and whiting - October to January When there was no bait or rod set up for catching any fish apart from mackerel, this trip was blatantly set up for mackerel bashing and should be advertised as so! If I wanted to catch small fish I can easily do this off the shore at a fraction of the price !

   This used to be good but the dressed crab is now predominantly brown meat, no claw, much smaller and has gone up to £7.00 and it went up 50 pence in a week. Everything else is frozen. It's the seaside give me fresh fish.
