   Just completed the competent crew course with Salty sailing, an awesome experience. Far exceeded expectations! A huge amount was learnt in such a short time, the trust given which allowed myself and others to have such a ‘hands on‘ time aboard made it all the better. Great course! Great boat! Great people!    I recently completed the Day Skipper course and cannot recommend Salty Sailing highly enough! From the very beginning over a couple a phone calls, Hugo was incredibly helpful in providing all the course details. His friendly and professional guidance gave me complete confidence in booking the right course. The course itself was a fantastic, led by Fergus an outstanding instructor whose knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm created an engaging, fun and safe learning environment. Another highlight was the boat, which was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and maintained to an exceptional standard. It was an absolute pleasure to spend the week on board in comfort. Thank you to the Salty Sailing team for such a great experience.

   Super refresher weekend with Hugo to blow the cobwebs away ahead of a busy year. I've done a number of trips with Salty, including my day-skipper last year and I can't recommend them highly enough. Hugo is an excellent instructor. From the moment you arrive you feel part of a crew and the emphasis is very much on working together to achieve your goals and have great fun along the way. As with all good sailors Hugo is adept at adapting to the conditions and you'll feel both safe and challenged no matter what previous experience you have or what the sea has in store that day! Having had a less than pleasant experience with another company, Salty Sailing restored both my confidence and my love of being on the water. Already looking forward to the next experience...

   Had a great week with Hugo at Salty Sailing doing my day skippers course. Even with rough and windy conditions Hugo helped us learn and refine skills to safely and confidently skipper a sailing yacht. Hugo’s style was brilliant for us to learn, he was relaxed and was incredibly informative in a manner that allowed practical application of the theory. I’m really looking forward to going back to Salty Sailing to do me Power Boat Level 2 and hopefully my Yacht Master in the future. Thanks again for a great week.

   I have already sailed twice with Salty Sailing - once for my day skipper practical course and now for a weekender refresher cruise, and honestly recommend them as a great company to sail with. The boat is in great condition: clean, modern, well equipped. I honesty can’t remember ever chartering a boat that was so well maintained and a pleasure to sleep on. All other equipment is new, clean and well kept as well. Hugo is a fabulous teacher and I really gained a lot of confidence during the course. He’s patinent, friendly, helpful and really helped us improve our skills. He’s got a vast knowledge and sailing experience and I really appreciated learning the practical skills form him as we practiced manoeuvres or planned our passage. As a regular to IOW I’m pleased to see an independent business grow and do so well. I’d recommend Salty Sailing to anyone who wants to gain sailing qualifications, improve their skills or get into sailing in a friendly and relaxed environment. I will be booking another passage or cruise with them in the coming months.

   5 days of day skipper practical course with one of the best yacht master instructor Paul Weinberg. What an amazing 5 days it's been sailing from Cowes to Southampton, Newtown creek, Portsmouth and back to Cowes. Got to learn and practice so many manoeuvres on sail and under engine. Feeling so grateful and happy and looking forward to more sailing soon. Thank you Salty sailing for providing this opportunity and the best instructors.
