Was just going to pop in for a meal deal, don't usually get time during the day but I had time to stop on this job and had my club card voucher so not only lunch for a change but a free one. Soon cut short as they were SHUT for 2 hours (looked like some type of delivery) Not good enough you advertise open 6-12 so be open
Staff not very polite. Too busy chatting to acknowledge you at the till. No "thank you", "you're welcome" or "goodbye"
Petrol, sandwiches and alcohol and a whole lot more. Two self service checkouts and one staffed. All the products you would expect for a Tesco this size.
Use Tesco Express regularly and most of the staff are friendly and helpful except for one. Very condescending, unhelpful and practically throws any change on the counter or drops it in your hand as if you're a leper. I much prefer to be served by the other staff remembers who are very friendly, helpful and chatty.
Rubbish service. I went in today to collect a parcel. The guy in front of me was having a few problems at the only til in there now so the queue was building up fast with people wanting to pay for petrol. There was a tall guy reducing a couple of items so I asked if he could go get the parcel from the back for me, he said I had to wait my turn as there were other people in front of me (there was 1 man being served)! I told him that the woman at the til will send him anyway. He said he was busy marking bread cakes down!! So I had to wait until the lady told him to go fetch the parcel. My god come on and use your head. The queue was massive. He finished marking the products down then cleared off in the back. Absolute jobsworth. I won't be getting my parcels delivered there anymore and i definitely won't be going for petrol either as there's only 1 til to pay at now!
Managed to get all I wanted and staff are great and always helpful
Staff are great, the fuel is dearer than ASDA but it’s convenient if you need some thing from the shop
It was once known as Green Arrow and was a petrol station and VW dealership. Demolished, now the area has been totally refurbished by Tescos into a petrol (filling station) and small convenience store. It has a limited range of food and drink for sale along with newspapers, beers, wines, spirits, cigarettes, along with other items. It also acts as a Click and Collect point so if you order something online you can choose this store to pick up your items. Situated on the main Boothferry Road on the corner of First Lane it is very well positioned for travellers both in and out of Hull.
A well stocked convenient store open till midnight also a filling station very popular always busy.
