Bought 2 scratch cards today 30/1/23 around 1pm won on it but couldn't claim my prize as the shop didn't activate the pack before selling to the public. Just had to phone national lottery to confirm my prize, send it of in post so I can claim my prize. Also tried calling the number provided on Google but the number is not recognised.

How many times do I have to pull them about my change, they always seem to short change me. Also they forget to put the offers they've got on to the system. As for the staff they don't seem to have their minds on the job all the time. In the nutshell this shop doesn't seem to be run very professional!!

More than the Manager's job's worth to allow my friend to use the toilet.. no pubs/eateries open in the village so this wasn't planned. To not allow someone the simple dignity of being able to use a toilet when they are not feeling well is disgraceful. It should be no big deal in this day and age. What if someone was sick or injured? Little Britain at its finest. Reason for visit? In Walkington having walked from Beverley red hot day - needed some lunch.

Well stocked but do not buy the pastry. I got a meat slice and there were 2 pieces of chicken in there. If I could be bothered I would have gone back and given it to them to show them that giving this to a customer is not okay. Don’t but the pastries!

Expensive, especially the alcohol and confectionery. I always double check the charge at the till as they often "forget" to put the offers on the shelves into the system and I've been over charged many times, also no itemised receipts just prices so when you go back to dispute the over charge they don't do anything and that's just naming a few of the problems ... Continue driving past and actually go into Beverley, it's worth the petrol money and there's less chance of damage to your car than there would be parking outside this shop!!!

Live in the village so it's nice and close. Sorted my barbecue right out when I needed the foods! The fresh produce is amazing cause its nice and local and the pork pies were brilliant back christmas. Staff wise I'm going to have to say the young man who works on Sunday evenings was very useful . Charming, helpful and polite. Never forget his messy hair and smile. Definitely coming back!

I arrived at this fine establishment expecting great things, that was until the cantancerous old bind of a shop keeper waddled up and announces “I can’t serve you”. This, I assume, was due to pure idleness and a lack of get-up-and go. The shops itself has a poor selection of food with the most edible looking thing in there a tin of pedigree chum.

Very good service with a friendly ,helpful manner. Products cover a wide range of goods that is an all round venue without going to town! Oh. Great efficient post office too that I for one would definitely miss if not available. Best meeting shop for village too employing young people at weekends. Love it.
