I love this place, I perform here often and the staff / customers are always fun and happy. I have a great rapport with them. I advise anyone to try it. You’ll have a good laugh.
Always a great place for a drinks and catch up. The events room out back is great and the big screen they have on for events is huge! Also the drinks are very well priced. You will ideally need a membership to benefit but you currently do get a couple free drinks when you sign up as well ! Good size as well if your looking for a venue.
A locals members only club, with all the usual benefits of a nice selection of drinks and entertainment at weekends. Bar staff are friendly and welcoming.
The town club was great. It now has a dog trial where dogs are allowed in till 6pm. I went in on a Saturday afternoon, my dog got lots of fuss and I was helped to a table ( glass, bottle, dog and stick) which was very kind. I sat on a table on my own( old and alone) while the football was on two big screens. Everyone cheered. My dog coped very well with this, spontaneous cheering. It's nice to know I can pop in with my pooch anytime before 6pm
Thanks to the staff & members who,on Tuesday 28th Feb.made Kathleen so welcome whilst celebrating her 90th birthday & to Ross,for dropping us off for eats on the Esplanade. Where else would you find hospitality like that? Again,a big thank you.

To enjoy the town club you have to apply to be a member. The members are of all ages. There are two bars and a function room. The club has regular entertainment at the weekends and is very popular with the community. They have a pool table and are part of the local league. This is a family club which allows children to stay until 21:00hrs. The prices are competitive and they offer standard bar snacks like crisps and nuts. The club regularly shows live sports on a number of large screen TV's. You can also hire the function room for private events. The club also holds children's parties which are run by the club committee, these are very popular!
