   Beautiful place with lovely events and open to the public on specific days. I tried calling several times during opening hours on different days and weeks to plan a visit, but no one answered the phone.

   Council need to look after it more, but the Hull Seahawks are a powerhouse ice hockey team. There's also other teams like the Jets (NIHL 1), Diamonds, and recreational teams!

   Took the kids ice skating for something to do as they have asked a few times to go. Plenty of parking (pay and display) walk inside to get the tickets and straight to the skate rental window for the boots. Boots were clean and comfy, then a short walk to the ice to enjoy a couple of hours of fun, laughs and falling over. There is a cafe if you want a drink and snacks with reasonable prices. Overall a good trip out for the family which everyone enjoyed, would recommend as something different if you need ideas for the summer holidays.

   I can only describe it as a teenagers playground with no adult supervision! This was half term so kids were being dropped off and basically left. Lots of swearing, kids sat around on their phones and just silly behaviour. That being said there were some families, including myself and children, all trying to navigate the ice around screaming, giggling kids falling over or creating long lines holding hands so no one can get around them. The coffee machine would not accept any coins but the cafe opened at noon. Reception were not bothered when I told them about the coffee machine. No selection for anyone with allergies or dietary needs. The girl serving was pleasant but again it was run by young girls, in the cafe, in the skate booth and another watching the ice. You can hire equipment for the younger or less experienced children. I honestly think we may just have picked a bad day/time. We will go again as my child enjoyed it. 10am until 2pm, one adult, one child with skate hire £17.60. Oh and if you use a locker (20p) and forget something, like I did, it swallows your 20p and you have to put another in! Car park is reimbursed.

   The ice is great but I wouldn't recommend the junior disco for under 15s. The arena was packed with big groups of boys/girls who were there to impress each other. That's fine, but it doesn't allow for the 12/13 year old to have an enjoyable experience. Also, for youngsters who live out of town and need taking to the disco, there is literally nowhere for the adult who has taken them to sit while they wait. Lots of security staff who managed the older skaters well but the same staff wouldn't let my 12 year olds use the toilets at the same time - one of them had to wait outside with the security guard until the other finished. Apparently this is to ensure nothing untoward is happening in the bathrooms but actually it unsettled my girls and they then asked to go home. Great facility but the disco needs a rethink.

   Great experience. First ice hockey match for the wife and kids to watch and they loved it. Food and drink was good and reasonably priced. A great family day out.

   Good fun afternoon skating. Not a fan of the rental skates as they really hurt my feet but my youngest goes regularly and he has his own skates. Not bad value and the parking is free if you skate but the issue is that you need to pay cash for the parking as there's no option to pay via app.

   Loved it clean tidy. Bit tight at gates to sit and circulation apace. But staff kind supportive. Ice good smooth quality. Some rinks trust me it's rutted at the start. This is nice boots hire good condition and sharp .
