β 1/5 β Really disappointing birthday experience I went to Odeon on my birthday, really excited to watch Five Nights at Freddyβs 2. Iβm 15, which is the correct age for the film, but I was still asked for ID. I donβt have any form of ID because I donβt own a passport, and I wasnβt expecting to need one just to see a movie. Because of this, I wasnβt allowed in, and it completely ruined what was supposed to be a fun birthday outing. I understand checking ages is important, but there should be a more reasonable way to handle situations like this β especially when someone is clearly the right age and itβs a special occasion. Really disappointing experience, and it definitely took the excitement out of my birthday visit.

Came to the cinema to see the wicked double bill on my own. Itβs five hours so went a bit wild on the popcorn and several drinks. David was the best! Showed me how to collect my order, he even helped me carry everything to my seat! Thank you David! :)

This cinema is simply the best in east Yorkshire. We have my limitless pass, and we love coming here. The reclining seats give you that extra luxury when watching your favourite films. I can't recommend it enough, never disappointed

This cinema offers a truly fantastic experience, featuring very comfortable seating and consistently friendly and helpful staff. They also provide an excellent selection of snacks. While it may be slightly more expensive than other cinemas in the vicinity, the quality of the experience certainly justifies the price.

Went on a quiet time, staff were friendly & helpful. By the time we chatted put coats on, a member of staff was in cleaning up. Great comfy seats, better than being at home.

We saw Avatar "water of life" yesterday (02.01.23) and had a great experience. Very expensive compared to other Hull Cinemas but a completely different experience. Well worth it as a treat, but I wouldn't be able to afford to go often. At least the 3D glasses are included unlike the others who charge extra

One of the worst cinema experiences I've ever had, if not the worst! Went to see Avatar: The way of water at the iSense, screen 5 in 3D at Hull luxe. We were so excited to watch this film and decided to spend the extra cash to go to Ocean Luxe iSense for what we thought would be the best cinema experiences we could have. For the two of us it was Β£44 with 3D Glasses. Within 30 minutes of watching the film I couldn't believe how blurry the image was! I couldn't focus on the charactes or text on screen. So much so that I left my seat to find management. Management came and looked at the screen but nothing was changed. At the end of the film I went back to management who said they could see nothing wrong. When asked if that was the best they could do, they said, yes. If I wanted better I should go to Leeds as they use Lasers. I could believe that we've paid Β£44 for a blurry film. I will also say that the screen is not noticely bigger than other screens in other cinemas. The sound quality was basic, nother to be impressed with and the image seemed dark. The only saving grace was the Luxe seating. But worth Β£44? I think not. Safe to say will not being comming back to Odean.

Such a great experience at this cinema, it's a bit of a drive for us but as a treat its well worth a visit. Lots of choice for drinks and snacks, easy to book beforehand and the seats are amazing. Very comfortable, nice to feel like you have your own space

This was my first visit to the Odeon Cinema hull One, when I was up for the weekend. I was impressed by the service, and the friendly staff encountered. Seats were comfy and the cinema was very clean. Given it's location, I would not hesitate to return, nor would I put anyone off from visiting. People say it is expensive, but they really need to visit Other odeons before they say that. I found prices to be reasonable and quite acceptable.
