I stayed for 2 nights (19/20 November) The welcome on arriving was warm, We were shown to our rooms and everything was explained to us regarding our stay. The bar was full of locals and set a friendly environment, there was good range of beers and the Chinese on sight was a good surprise . When working in the area again I will definitely be booking a room

Stayed for 2 nights and days in the Napton Room, the bed was especially large for a single, toiletries and a breakfast basket were not only included but delightful. The landlord, Rob, was extremely pleasant and made sure things were comfortable and convenient. The surrounding area of Priors Marston is absolutely beautiful and brings a heavy air of authenticity to this rustic, cozy inn. Drink selection was wide, even including cocktails and some shots/shooters. Would definitely come again and intending on bringing the family up for an extended visit in the near future.

I was supposed to stay for 2 nights but only managed 1 night. Room was OK but very dated. Quilt was stained. The fire exit light was so bright in the room that it was like daylight. Told the manager the next morning that I wanted a refund for the night I didn't stay. Still waiting

Lovely country pub, which on certain nights they have live music, games night, and quiz nights. They do not serve traditional food as yet, but they provide a Chinese menu, which is delicious

Hosts were fantastic, couldn’t have been more accommodating. Super friendly vibe and a lovely part of the country. Would 100% recommend.

Nice old pub, and the social centre of a small and gorgous old village that has not one shop. Good food, good atmosphere. Loved the sweet potato chips, not found anywhere else around. Loved them not only for being the healthy alternative to normal potato, but because they were the only crisp, not-soggy chips in virtually all of England. The place deserves your support, go there.

Very generous Sunday roast portions, tasty and mostly very well cooked (beef could have been pinker for my taste). Nice homley feel and staff were very friendly and attentive. Enjoyed the ale and wine too. Desserts were excellent, apple crumble in particular. All for a very reasonable price too
