   Absolutely fantastic place. My son started going in summer and he loves it. Sensei Jack is brilliant with him (he is autistic) and they have a lovely, no pressure, family atmosphere in the dojo. As well as Sensei Jack there are lots of helpers too and they all create a welcoming environment.

   My son started jujitsu a few months ago and he loves it, when he started his confidence was nil existence but since he started his confidence has grown to level I didn’t think was possible, due to friendly but disciplined approach by the instructors he really has come on and now is full of self confidence. Couldn’t recommend enough if anyones child struggles with making friends or has low confidence. Rising Suns will definitely help!

   My daughter started this club in October 2024 and it’s the only thing she has ever wanted to stick with (believe me we have tried a few different things) Rising sun martial arts are fantastic and cater to all ages…Sensei Jack has a very good understanding with all the students in the class. Senpai Amber works well with my daughter who at times can be challenging, they also offer a safety club after lessons that teaches the children about all kinds of safety issues.

   Rising sun is an amazing club to be in! My son started feeling very anxious and not wanting to join in. Other members helped him join in and he's enjoyed it ever since. The sensi accept all people, children and adults and are brilliant with those who have additional needs. Nothing is a problem for them and always approachable if you ever need to talk to them. Payment each week is cheap and discounts if you do more than 1 session a week! My son is thriving and looks forward to his lessons. There is no nastiness in the dojo and everyone respects eachother there.
