From my experience my school was alright, but there's a few rules that I don't agree with but I wouldn't call Henry Cort a bad school or a good school I'd just say it's an alright school

Such a bad school, bulling is awful and the adults don't do much about it and will keep you in groups/classes your kid really isn't comfrable with. Headteacher is miserable and turnt this school for the worst. Get strikes for absloutly ridiculous things even if your child ends up being 2 minutes late! Camera in the toilets We took my little brother out school (homeschooling) and its the best decision we have ever made and won't have be scared to be shouted at to go to the bathroom either..

I concur with the other reviewers. This school has a regime of bullying which appears to permeate throughout the various school years. My granddaughter has for some time endured unacceptable verbal bullying which has recently descended into physical assault. Complaints to the management of the school have always fallen on ‘deaf ears’ with total inaction to prevent further instances. Leadership is inept and their ‘zero tolerance’ bullying policy is totally ineffective, useless and not fit for purpose. We have since withdrawn her from this school and would recommend parents view other schools in the area before attempting to place their child at Henry Cort. It is unsafe.

I have recently left this school but It was by far my greatest choice of a secondary school. Local schools can’t beat the safety at Henry Cort, there wasn’t even a single time I felt scared or worried that the staff couldn’t handle a situation throughout my 5 years there. It’s easy to get around and the measures put in place during covid allowed for the school to be one of the only schools open for a while. It truly is great and all of the staff there are lovely, as well as there always being a mental well-being group open to you all throughout the school day. This is by far your best choice of a secondary school!

Such a bad school. The bullying is horrendous. Nothing ever gets done about it either. Both my children have had issues with violence there and nothing gets done about it. Do not send your children here! More concerned about uniform than fixing the terrible behavior of certain children that attend that school

More concerned about the dress code than the behaviour. Mother of two children who attended that school. Both got bullied, both had not been sorted out, yet as soon as the uniform was a little bit different, ie because of low earnings emailed to sort it with in hrs. I had no choice to send my kids there. I now would walk 3hr both ways if it meant that no other kids in mine go there.
