I cannot say enough good things about Kiddi Caru Whiteley (Gull Coppice). My son has been going there now for almost a year and he loves it. He has developmental delays and they can’t do enough in terms of support and care for him. His development has come a long way since being there. I’ve found the staff to be lovely, kind and supportive.
I would give 0 if it was the option. If you care for your child, don't send them here. If a adult asks for a cuddle you will give right? These ladies would see the child screaming in front of them asking for just a simple cuddle, no they would carry on their chats with each other. ( I am not talking here about clingy kids,but just a sad moment, where the child just needs a cuddle and will calm down). My child started developing aggressive behaviour, started hitting everybody as soon as was coming back from the nursery, used to put his toys on a line and shouting at them " hey you boys shut up " and was smashing each one of them.( my husband had to call nursery and asking what happened today because his behaviour is not normal, is not from him).Crying in his sleep " noooo noo noooo" . Screaming in the morning " please no nursery " but in a sad way . The lunch sooooo rushed, my child basically was just swallowing without chowing the food, and his poop was the whole food as he ate it ,lost a lot of weight as was not eating breakfast and stopped even the lunch bit by bit.And they have the audacity to lie to your face " he ate all of his food",as soon as you go home and the child is eating like has been starved. Unbelievable how they forget that a mother knows her child better than anyone else. You have to wait for minutes because the ladies inside are having their chats and can't bother to open you the door. I am talking about things I have seen with my own eyes. You buy waterproof clothes for the child to wear outside in wet weather, nooooo way can they bother to put it on on the child, the child would get changed about 3-4 times ,his clothes all wet 24/7.I thought they had a pool! Oh yes they have a pool called, wet weather and leaving the child wetting himself in wee. Do you know why? Because the child didn't trust and probably too scared to ask for toilet. ( talking for a child who stays dry and during the whole night long ). No educational plan, each day a different person, changing staff constantly. Let's not talk about the ofsted report, that one made us even more alarmed. We felt so much guilt and I cried so much thinking how did we trust our most important person in this world to this place.I used to hear from a lot of people how bad the nurseries are and the level has dropped drastically. They don't know the children. Ask the key person just 1 simple question " tell me 1 thing my child likes the most " . Asked the question, the key person didn't know what to invent, was talking generally " well he loves painting as we do a lot of painting activities in the nursery " . I said no, my child is obsessed with cars,you should have noticed that, is so easy, he comes every morning with a car in his hand and his bag is filled with cars and he plays all day with cars. How will you help in the development of a child in his education when you don't know the child. This nursery should be closed. There are a lot more episodes but even this is way more then enough. Wish a took my child off way ahead when the red flags started raising.
Since the children have moved to the nursery they are so happy. The staff are great, with detailed handovers each day often with pictures through the online portal.
A lot of hard working decent BRITISH families living in Britain. So I like to be very careful what I say. Beautiful families
My children loved it here when we lived in Whiteley and still talk about some years later. Modern, friendly staff who care and engage with the children and parents brilliantly. Best nursery in the area if your looking around for one.
