I had an extremely frustrating experience with UPS. Days in advance, I informed UPS that my parcel needed to be delivered before the 12th, as I was traveling. I was completely ignored. Later, I received a message saying they were unable to deliver and that the parcel would be returned — which is simply not true. I was at home all day, every day, and no delivery attempt was ever made. Because I received no response from UPS, I contacted the retailer, and the return was initially cancelled. Only then did UPS reply, stating they could not deliver because they did not have my phone number. I immediately provided my contact number and also registered my details on the UPS website for this shipment. No one ever called me. Despite this, I continued to receive daily messages saying “unsuccessful delivery attempt”, while I was still at home every single day, with no delivery attempt whatsoever. As I was about to travel, I contacted UPS again requesting the parcel to be left at an access point. I was told this needed to be arranged with the retailer. I contacted the retailer again, who said they would check this option. Meanwhile, UPS continued sending daily messages stating delivery was unsuccessful. Now I have been informed that the parcel cannot be left at an access point at all. At this point, I have asked the retailer to request the return and refund, as I am exhausted from trying to deal with UPS. Due to UPS’s failure, I not only did not receive my order, but I also lost a Black Friday promotion — meaning I would now have to pay a higher price to repurchase the same items. Very disappointing service and extremely poor communication.

UPS drivers are probably the worst category of workers. All the time I’m home, I’m receiving a notification telling me « sorry, we tried to deliver but you weren’t available ». They don’t even bother knock or call anymore.

Avoid at all costs, customer support is non existent and India based. Paid import duties but they are still looking for the very same import duties that has been paid! Fake deliveries, app not updated to show duties paid, website not updated also.

personaly I avoid to work with UPS as much as I can. cause its always trouble. all support on outsource that is 100% USELESS. cant help with anything. double charges of vat that need 6 months to get back. lost boxes that never found. charges with no invoices.

I ordered laptop from another company and it's the third day that ups is showing me that they made attempts but I'm sitting at home waiting for the package and the website shows that we already attempted the delivery also waited on their customer service phone for over 30mins no answer.

This company is the worst, they never deliver the packages and their customer service is terrible, they lie saying that they already sent the packages and they didn't send them, I was at home waiting for a package and no one ever knocked on my door, I didn't even try, they are the worst delivery company I have ever used, I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS DELIVERY COMPANY EVER due to lack of trust, it should be illegal they continue in the service

Using an annoying customer service call centre in Philippines … most of them can’t even hear or speak English properly!! Call centre has no way of contacting ups depot in Ireland except an email service , they can’t even tell you if your package is on the van or which driver it is and what’s his contact number so you can arrange your delivery! Totally and utterly useless service!

If you want to kill your nerve cells, use UPS. There's absolutely no connection between the drivers and customer service representatives. I had a package pick up scheduled for today between 12 to 5pm. Before 12, I reached customer assistance representative and asked to give me a call prior to driver's visit. As I discovered later, the woman lied, because UPS do not even have this function. It's ridiculous how UPS expects people not to do anything, but wait for the driver for the whole working day. Again, only the driver knows that the pick up will be accurately at 12, not even a minute less. Why this information is not given to us, customers, directly instead of this ridiculous time slot 12-5 pm? So many questions, and yet no answers.

Received email from ups with tracking number package due for delivery Thursday 5th May between 1 - 5 pm. Waited at home no sign of package checked tracking number on ups site message "delivery attempted 20.31". I was at home at that time, next day Friday new time same as before. Checked status of delivery message "Address Information Required", phone UPS they don't use eircodes for delivery main address correct need old post code. What a load of rubbish.

Complete and utter disgrace. Zero communication. Waited on a package from abroad. Informed by tracking it reached Finglas two days ago. Supposed to be delivered today according to phone autoinfo system . Waited 5 hours. Called again to be informed after much button pressing that the package had been discarded due to damage. They would give me no info other than that. They had no intention of informing me though unless I called. They kept repeating they had informed the sender and I should contact them I messaged the sender to be told he has heard nothing from UPS and knows nothing about the damage. I've suggested he asks for photographic proof of damage as I have my doubts.Add to the fact the package was marked as 'fragile' and it says a lot about the type of people they have working there. Either they can't read or..... Please read the Trustpilot reviews for UPS and you'll get an idea of what to expect. I'd suggest you request senders to use a different courier - only the bottom line taking a hit will make UPS change.
