Brilliant fun—welcoming, inclusive, and full of laughter We did the six-week Ceroc intro course at Barton Hall and absolutely loved it. The instructors were warm and clear, and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and full of laughter. I have two left feet and spent most of the time laughing at my own mistakes—but that’s part of the joy. You don’t need a partner, and you get to dance with everyone, which keeps it social and light-hearted. Our very first dance was to Never Not Gonna Dance Again by P!nk, and it’s stuck with me ever since. Every time I hear it now, I smile. Ceroc at Barton Hall is fully inclusive—no matter your age, experience, or confidence level, you’ll be welcomed with open arms and great music. If you’re thinking about trying it, go. You’ll laugh, move, and leave feeling better than when you arrived.

Barton Hall Horndean going forward from strength to strength. I returned to dancing here a year ago as a widower. It has helped me to remember the beginner and intermediate moves I learnt 20 years ago, but the progess I am making with new intermediate moves and putting them into some sort of coherent dance has been amazing and down to Tom D and his team. Add in a monthly master class, what's not to like. Just do it!

For a widower who found himself becoming rather reclusive, I was introduced to Ceroc (Barton Hall) in December 2018. I was very nervous at first as the only dancing I had experienced was years of going to nightclubs. But thanks to some very welcoming taxi dancers & meeting many new friends through dancing it has become a lifestyle choice that I am very pleased that I made. When you learn some new dance sequences and practice them in the freestyle that follows, the release of endorphins will raise the mood levels considerably. This makes you want to keep coming back and getting better and better. But it's not just the dancing it's the interaction with others that are there who share the same aspirations in terms of, not only learning to dance but having fun doing it. There are a mix of beginners and experienced dancers that attend on a weekly basis & if you are unsure of any moves, there are very friendly taxi dancers who will help you. The main teacher at Barton hall is a guy called Tom who is a very good teacher & makes the classes fun to attend.

I joined Ceroc 10 years ago, my teachers were the amazing Dan and Mirander... not only is Ceroc fun and amazing exercise physically but is also great for mental health... and then there is the dance community! I have made soooo many friends over the years, some have become family xx

Great fun, great dancers and a wonderful dance floor but the best is the great team behind the organisation which I am proud to be part of as a taxi dancer. Every Thursday is a blast with great music and lots of dancing.

Love this place as a great start towards the weekend. The teacher is always full of energy and makes learning to dance easy for everyone, even if you start with 2 left feet. I always leave with a feel for buzz.
