Visited this store. Had a very nice cuppa and the staff were very helpful. We have bought a lot from here. It's all very different.
Best furniture shop around, very helpful, didn’t have the dining table that we was looking for in the showroom however they offered to custom make it and within a fast timescale they did and it’s perfect, also for a fraction of the price of competitors on St Andrews quay. Highly recommend
After a very pleasant run out to Beverley our son suggested calling by Alexander Ellis to check out their range of furnishings. Never heard of it and its not easy to find set behind what looks like disused retail units. When you drive round you find a small unassuming entrance that leads into a huge showroom filled with some really interesting pieces. It's over two floors and the staff are very helpful and cheerful. Well worth checking out.
Absolutely stunning furniture. Very helpful and all perfect. All made to measure. So happy. Definitely be ordering again soon. Keep going back for more so must be a good sign. Well worth the visit.
After an awful experience with an online bed company, I went to Alexander Ellis to look for a new bed. Everything about the experience was fantastic. The store colleagues are wonderfully helpful and reassured me that in the unlikely event of a problem with my order, it would be swiftly remediated. My new bed arrived inside the 4 week timeframe, was assembled by 2 fitters and is absolutely perfect. I honestly couldn’t be happier. How I wish I’d gone to Alexander Ellis in the first place and avoided the online, poor quality, imitation!
Fantastic range of furniture. Good value too. 4* not 5* because a few mistakes were made with the furniture when delivered, HOWEVER they went to great lengths to ensure all wrongs were made right. Anyone can make a mistake, but we were impressed with how well they fixed it up.
We bought an asymmetrical bookcase from the Beverley shop and were delighted with the level of service and friendliness. The price was much cheaper than a similar one seen elsewhere which is always a plus and without having to compromise on quality or size. We could not take delivery when it was ready but the shop very kindly held on to it for an extra 4 weeks with no fuss or charge. The delivery crew were helpful and very professional. We would highly recommend this emporium and its employees and for someone who dislikes shopping this was actually a pleasurable experience.
