    We purchased a bed frame and mattress from Bensons for Beds, and overall our experience was very positive. The quality of both the bed frame and the mattress met our expectations, and we are very satisfied with the comfort and finish. I would especially like to highlight the excellent customer service we received from Natalie. She was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Natalie took the time to explain the different options available, answered all of our questions clearly, and made sure we felt confident in our decision before purchasing. Her approach was not pushy at all, which made the experience relaxed and enjoyable. Thanks to Natalie’s outstanding customer service, the whole buying process was smooth and stress-free. We felt valued as customers and well looked after. I am very happy with our purchase and would definitely recommend Bensons for Beds, particularly because of the high level of customer service we received.

    At a time when you can order high quality mattresses online with a long sleep guarantee that have zero return fees, and zero delivery charges, Bensons are doing business in the past. Bensons currently will not give you a refund once it has been delivered, and should you want to use their '40-night comfort guarantee' they also charge a 10% fee of the original mattress price AND a delivery fee for the replacement mattress, even though they will be picking the previous one up anyway. When on the phone arranging the replacement process, I was told that the manager 'may waive the fee', so it was at his discretion, but nope - an absolutely brick wall on that one when we actually visited the store. Just to add insult to that, the in-store customer service was appalling. One particular member of staff at the St Andrew's Quay (Hull) store, was incredibly condescending, bizarrely defensive given the guarantee is there for a reason, and absolutely unhelpful, constantly questioning why we wanted to exchange it, and telling us that the new choice of mattress was 'just as firm' (it absolutely was not). Given that myself and my family have used Benson's numerous times in the past and spent thousands on mattresses there, and also that we have used an online brand also to much better effect (they replaced a mattress with no fuss and no charges, and best of all with no unhelpful, badly-trained staff to deal with), we will no longer use Bensons For Beds either online and certainly not in-store.

    Very pleased to highly recommend Bensons for Beds. We bought a Slumberland mattress from the Hull branch 2 weeks ago and it was delivered today 2nd October. The service from this business is absolutely top notch. The sales staff were incredibly well informed, friendly, polite, courteous and professional - helping and advising us through the selection and sale process. Delivery date was selected and confirmed. Communications throughout the lead-in have been superb including delivery tracking and phone calls from the delivery drivers. We have to say a huge thanks to Steve in the Hull St Andrews Quay store (our sleep advisor, just love the title!) - he was superb. Also massive thanks to our two delivery drivers Jamie and Steven - two lovely friendly and polite North East lads who are a credit to Bensons. The mattress is fantastic - so, in all, this is a top class company with the finest staff offering superb products and service - it just doesn't get any better!

    My new bed was delayed and furniture was delayed even further than expected but was not informed by benson !! When my new bed was rescheduled I found out I had to assemble the new bed my self (super king tv ) finally got delivered and the bed was mouldy benson advised we can send you a new headboard !! I have paid 6k for a bed and mattress no care given what so ever shocking company !!!

    All staff from the showroom to the delivery team were friendly and highly professional. I believe we dealt with Matt in the showroom who explained the procedure of finding the right mattress to suit our needs. Then after using the simulator and discovering what firmness would give us the right support we chose a pillow and tried every single bed in that range until we settled on what suited us. We then received full information about how to recycle our existing mattress, we chose our delivery date and were given full details of how the delivery process would take place. We then received full information from Bensons to let us know how our order and delivery were progressing. True to Matts word, I received an email about a week before asking if my delivery date was still convenient and giving me the option to move it if necessary up until 5 days prior to delivery. I then received one the day before giving me a five hour window of 7am-1pm. On the day of delivery I received a two hour slot of 8.36-10.36 with a link to track the lorry. Around 8am I received a call from the driver to say he would be with me within the hour. My delivery came around 8.40. The delivery men were friendly, professional, and treated both myself and my home with respect. They delivered the mattress to the bedroom and placed it on the bed. They also removed my old one for recycling. Everything went smoothly and I felt I was given such lovely detailed information right from the start which was carried out to the letter. Thank you everyone who was involved in my journey. You have all been a delight. I've never had such a great customer experience and support from any other retailer in the past. Oh, and after two nights on our new mattress I believe the simulator helped immensely in making the right choice. Without it I believe we would have got this so wrong! When investing so much money it is vital to make the right choice...however we have 8 weeks to decide whether this mattress is truly the right one so I feel very confident in the company and in our choice.     Welcoming atmosphere and very well-kept shop floor. Staff were polite, welcoming and willing to answer the gazillions of questions you may have. Tip: when trying out a mattress, don't just lie on your back; assume the position you normally sleep in and take your time, 5 minutes or so, to get a good feel of the mattress. That's a great advice given by the staff. When deciding which product to buy, I liked that you were not pushed into buying anything that you did not want. Great variety of products across the range of prices. Every question is answered, and you were left to think things through so you make your decision.

    Great service, very knowledgeable staff who are friendly and not pushy at all! We shopped around but went back to Bensons because if the level of service and value for money! Highly recommend. UPDATE! Delivery was spot on, product was well packed and the whole experience has been excellent!!!

    My bed was delivered on 26th March and was damaged with a drawer not working. I have been told to email as the customer service phone line was actually a sales line. I have emailed 4 times and yet to receive an answer. I am disgusted in the service and to be honest the quality of the bed compared to what I chose in store. I will be contacting my local bensons in Hull at the weekend. I work full time so finding time to sit for hours on the phone has been difficult.
