Amazing selection of products l, it's nice to see a business move locally (vintage markets etc) well worth a browse upto holburn street for a look.
This is a great store selling a range of antique, vintage and bric a brac items. It’s very rustic with a lot packed into a small space. If your like us and like a store where you can rummage for hidden treasures this is a good place to go. They have items from large pieces of furniture to small trinkets. Don’t expect polished up antiques displayed in lit glass cabinets, it’s not that sort of place. Think less Antique Roadshow and more Auntie Wainwrights but with much better service. It sells items for all ages and the owner Claire is always so welcoming and chatty. We have found she prices her items fairly and has something to suit all budgets. It’s always a milestone when you see something in a shop that you once remembered owning but is now vintage but such is life. It makes visiting here a nice trip down memory road and enjoy picking up some nice pieces for our home. Her stock is always changing so if your looking for something vintage that is a bit different then I’d definitely recommend popping in past.
I discovered Peapod by pure chance today when driving along Holburn St and noticed their sign out front advertising “vintage vinyl”. As a devout record collector, I had to have a look! I wasn’t disappointed. I got a couple of great new records for the collection and there were a few more I could’ve bought, but I had to restrict myself to just two new records. The shop is full of interesting stuff and lots of unique, vintage items. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. I can’t wait to go back again!
Best antique shop in Aberdeen by far. A wide variety of interesting things, at really good prices. Definitely coming back.
