What an absolutely outstanding team I had looking after me in Kent Ward yesterday for my knee replacement. I cannot thank each and every one enough or praise them enough for thier care, kindness, professionalism and dedication. To have my operation (first ever) and recover, have physio, all required tests and be discharged, with everything explained, by 5pm was just great and for which I am so grateful. From consultant Mr Jehan through the anesthetist and theatre teams, nursing, physio, catering and the cleaner who brought me numerous cups of tea. Thank you all so much, what a team, in a word....outstanding ☆☆☆☆☆

Took our son here whilst on holiday with a suspected broken wrist. Arrived around 7pm to be told x-ray department was shut. We saw a nurse/doctor who was very rude, made us feel like we were an inconvenience to them. We were told that his wrist wasn't swollen, which it quite clearly was, then she felt his wrist and said "no it's not broken, you can go home" We took matters into our own hand and badaged and slinged it up until we arrived home Friday where we could take him to our own hospital. After a short wait and an x-ray, my son has infact fracture his wrist. Complete disregard from the nurse/doctor who is obliged to deliver a duty of care to patients. I just hope no one else has the same treatment and becomes a massive inconvenience like we were

Hi everyone Have been to Bridlington Hospital today 4/7/2025 for a nose procedure to help me breathe easier through it. I’d just like to say to all the staff on the Lloyd ward today. You were so friendly, caring and well organised with everything from start to finish, your a credit to the NHS I’d definitely have treatment there again, just sorry that I forgot to bring some Haribo’s

Had an ultrasound scan for my pelvis. Was done diligently and nothing I can complain about with the actual procedure but when I asked if anything was showing I was told 'no nothing' and 'there is nothing there, all healthy'. Yet when I spoke to my own GP today there were lots of worrying abnormalities. Please don't do this. If there is stuff there and you don't want to tell someone then just say 'wait for your GP'. Otherwise it's a huge huge shock after thinking all was ok.

My fiance had an appointment at the General surgery clinic today, was told to report to Outpatients department. They logged him in at reception, and was told to wait in Outpatients till somebody came. A care assistant came and told us to follow her, and went round to wait near doctor. Doctor called him in, and asked what can I do you for today. The doctor had no idea why he was there. Andy didn't know why he was there either, he was expecting a consultation regarding his hip operation, well it wasn't for that. He just ended up having his blood taken. We got back home and rung our surgery, he was meant to have the camera up his back passage. Well don't you think the hospital should have known. Bad service I think. Would not recommend it.

Last year I had a total hip replacement my Surgeon Mr R Marsh did a wonderful job on me. I had the operation in the morning, by 7 pm I was on .my way home. A friend took me in in the morning then picked me up by 7 pm and took me home. I can't thank her enough for taking care of me, making sure I ate and drank. Prior to this op I had a full knee replacement I had to stay in the night of this op. I was lucky enough to get over this op with my daughter and son in law taking care of me. I would recommend anyone in pain with hips or knees to get them operated on, the pain relief is instant.

What IS there is very good but sadly Bridlington hospital needs more wards and departments opening. It is totally ludicrous that a town like Bridlington does not have a fully operational hospital. Bridlington is a town made up of young families and elderly people. We have no maternity care, no dental care, very little cancer care and NO ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY. Making sick people travel long distances is a death sentence for many. People cannot afford taxis to get them to Scarborough, Hull and York.

I had to vist this hospital today. Firstl, they need signs up saying your not allowed to walk in the doors, Secondly, they need to put a sign up saying you need to use the intercom which is hidden behind the automatic doors, they then tell you to call a number on the opening doors. Third no matter what your going there for if you have the slightest sniffle or any slight symptom of covid they want to put you in a room called the covid room with any number of people,if just one of those people do have covid everyone in that room will catch it if it has infectious as they say it is,probably killing people if it's as deady has they say it is.when i questioned the nurse about this she hung up the phone. NO WONDER THE INFECTIONS CASE'S KEEP RISING. FOURTH, i was there with my 20 month old granddaughter they wanted to do a covid test on her(i said no) but not on me even though you can carry this deadly disease without symptoms.WHYdidnt i need a test? The doctor we saw would get a 5 star. But the review is for the hospital.
