   Whilst travelling to Devon we stopped at Taunton Dene services where there were two of Matthew's lorries looking very clean and smart. I spoke to the driver and told him in my 73 years I had never been in a lorry. He immediately invited me up into the cab and showed me all about it,what a brilliant home from home.I didn't get the drivers name but he was very friendly and a credit to your company,thank you very much( made an old man very happy ).

   Completely unacceptable and dangerously irresponsible behaviour. The driver performed a full U-turn at a busy central London junction, right at the traffic lights, with pedestrians all around. Given the size and limited visibility of an HGV, there’s no possible way he could have seen if someone was crossing. This was an incredibly reckless decision that could have resulted in serious injury or worse. If a driver cannot operate a vehicle safely, they should not be doing it as a profession — lives depend on it. 25 April 2025 - 10:56am, High Holborn WC1

   Travelling on Saturday on M3 2pmish this gibbon decided to cut me up on the inside after traffic was being moved into 1 lane due to roadworks and an accident. The rain was torrential and he was flying along tailgating anything in its path and refusing to travel in 1st lane. What a liability this driver is! VRN N1 PMM

   Always load trucks from Wimbledon Theater post 11pm going until early morning hours (4 and 5am). Banging, yelling loudly, never considering there are people sleeping across the road, and little kids as well. Have woken up my daughter multiple times and have left us sleepless every time they do it which is at least once a week. Surprisingly, every other company that has done the same job has done it very respectfully and within normal working hours, ie before 11pm. Shame there is no zero rating.

   Our company use Paul Mathew for most, if not all of our work requiring Artics to delivery to various venues both in the UK and abroad and have to say that they are always where they are supposed to be, when they are supposed to be there, and on the whole, the drivers are always particularly helpful (especially Little Robbie). Because of this the directors and production managers here always ask for Paul Mathews to move our equipment for us, unless the client requests otherwise, and I personally would recommend them.

   Two of their lorries were parked right opposite The Mayflower Theatre on Sunday afternoon where the disabled bays were. Consequently my Nan, who is disabled, had to walk quite a distance to watch a production. I rang the company to voice my opinion (I was polite and simply explained they were parked in disabled bays). I was told they were there for the production by some incredibly rude man who then hung up on me. As such, I wouldn't touch this firm with a barge pole as they clearly don't care about the general public. Both lorries did get fines though. That's karma!
