1. Missed Opportunity ★★★☆☆

   A bureaucratic nightmare! Getting an appointment at this place - hell, even speaking to someone from inside the building - is one of the most difficult, Kafkaeque procedures you will ever endure. A complete and utter shambles. The reception staff - not the ones who work at Conifer House - but the ghastly beasts who answer the phones for City Health Care Partnership CIC - are rude, belligerent and thick. Worryingly, when attempting to make an appointment, you are palmed off to complete the elusive "online form". The problem this presents is a significant one. It is: if you have symptoms, the form does not allow for an appointment to be made. A prompt busily buzzes onto the screen telling me to make a telephone call to make an appointment. I do and I take screenshots for proof. When I call and inform the CIC receptionist, the tone with which I am greeted is bossy, impatient and rude. Eventually, around five weeks later, I am able to get an appointment but this is only because I was encouraged to game the system and therefore became classed as an "emergency". It wasn't an emergency. Lucy, one of the nurses, is brilliant and has looked after me a number of years. She is impeccably professional, hard working and studious. I am grateful that she looks after me. Whoever designed the website for Conifer House should be sacked. It is rubbish. Why is getting an appointment so difficult?

   Went in for a testing.Great place ,they have a walk in clinic every Wednesday. All the staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and made me feel at ease , constantly informed me politely what's happening

   Visited today for an implant replacement, had been advised to see Gavin as the implant was placed deeply. Gavin and his colleague Emma did a great job, looking after me when I felt dizzy and faint after the procedure. Thank you for not rushing me and making sure I was okay before leaving the clinic.

   Visit to get a coil was the most traumatic and violating experience of my life. Not prepared for any of the pain, not informed of what’s going on and what the steps are taken, within MY BODY. Doctors comments like ‘stop shouting’, ‘what are you shouting for’ when I screamed in agony, yet no pain relief was even mentioned. At no point was I told I can ask them to stop. The aftermath of this is I’m still on pain relief 2 weeks after as the wrong size was chosen for me and I’m petrified of the day when it’s time to replace it. On the flip side some other amazing nurses took care of me when I’ve passed out from pain in the bathroom after. Go anywhere else.

   I have called 4 times in 4 days to sort out a very urgent clinical issue. The staff on the phone were rude, and uninformative. One told me to call at 8 one said to book online at 8 and the other just passed me numbers for the wrong places. After calling at 8:00 exactly I was 3 in the que and a woman who lacked all empathy in the matter told me they had given them all away in the 1 min I was on hold. Completely a joke and I'm stuck at risk due to this.

   Was an interesting visit was there for lbtq + advice and the security guard asked me why I was there I explained why and he shouted across the reception to his colleague I didn't appreciate that but the actual support was amazing and I felt understood and whilst the person I was with didn't know the answer he managed to get me in touch with groups that can help me and kept telling me what he's doing during and even after the appointment thank you for that
