   As am over 71 I don't get automatically called for screening, so rang the unit. No waiting time for the call to be answered. Very helpful receptionist who made me an appointment immediately for a few days time. Absolutely astounded at the super efficiency of this Breast Care service. Well done to Humberside Breast Screening, you are looking after your patients in an exemplary manner, and especially the receptionist who treated me so professionally and kindly today.

   My scan today was conducted by 2 ladies and they were SO gentle and understanding that as someone who has Multiple Sclerosis, transferring from my wheelchair to the scan chair and removing my bra, wasn't as easy for me as others, they also helped me to refasten it after the scan, couldn't have been better

   Recently discovered they are only open until 12noon, certainly not enough time to get an appointment, a lead time of 4 weeks for an urgent referral, absolutely disgusting. Staff were rude and very unhelpful, staff even disclosed that my family member just missed out on an appointment because it was given to someone else....not the sort of information you want to be told when you are stressed and worried.
