First class surgery. I managed to get an appointment the same morning which never happened at my old practice. Even if you can't get in that day, reception staff will do their best to get you in as soon as they can. Spoke with Dr. McHugh, who is an excellent GP and had a lot of knowledge. Couldn't recommend this place enough.
Pleasant, courteous and professional reception staff. Dr Marshall also put me at ease and as a new patient made me feel relaxed and listened to. Would highly recommend the practice.
It's never too packed but the pharmacy I go to that's connected to it, well them pharmacists & other staff work so hard you can tell even when you only go twice a week cz there's nearly always a queue & the place is so small yet it's ram packed with workers & boxes of meds, nowhere for them to sit down but even so u the young girls at the front are always so lovely & helpful even though they're so busy doing their best 2 help everyone yet quite a few times I've been there (inside & out) I've heard ppl & had them telling me aswell abt how awful they are there apparently they can never get all of their tablets n stuff like that - I can't believe how unbelievably cheeky these ppl are I'm sure some of them are justified bt most of em don't even take them it's just part of their bull 2 get more money so they don't have to pay for those exact things innit!
I would Like to say a big thank you to Nicky in admin for her helpfulness and understanding today. I have had severe sciatica and a virus and she couldn't have been nicer and helped me loads by listening and speaking to the doctor regarding my concerns and worries and relaying them back as well as booking me into physio.. since changing to SM from 2020 I have found the surgery helpful and I have always managed to see a doctor when needed. They don't just leave you if they have concerns over anything they will follow it up unlike my last practice.
Left our previous doctors due to very rude receptionists and many issues with them not diagnosing health issues which out of hours GP were easily able to diagnose. We transferred here after recommendations from friends, they have been nothing but helpful everytime we call, repeat medication is always sent on time and we can quickly get an appoimtment when needed!
This surgery used to be good. Can’t get appointments, it’s dreadful. Wouldn’t see my 5 year old with ear infection last week, said leave for a few days and not interested in looking. Ended up two days later in the walk in for 4hours. Infection and needs looking at again in a week. Called them and can’t pre-book appointments. I am in the car travelling to work at 8am. The process is broken and needs fixing
I have been a patient of this surgery for over 30 years. I have ALWAYS found all reception staff, nurses and doctors to be highly professional, efficient and polite. Recently receptionist Kelly went to a lot of trouble to help me. Thank you Kelly.
Never have a problem getting an appointment, reception helpful & just seen a lovely doctor called Dr Marsh who couldn't do enough to help .
Trying to get an appointment is very frustrating . Been ringing now since Friday . Finally got through today Monday. To be told unless it is urgent they are all booked up. How do I know if it’s urgent that’s for the doctor to decide isn’t it? Or to talk to doctors I have to wait 2 weeks. What is that all about? I have to ring back at ten to review my meds. Which are life long and supposed to be on permanent repeat. So basically I am worse of now feeling terrible with all the frustration. Thanks for making my day sutton mad surgery
