I bought insurance through Policy Expert. I expected them to deal with claim. I had difficulty navigating their website and after several days of no response to my emails I eventually called them. They took all my details and caused me a lot of stress about consequences should I go ahead with my claim. Itβs been many years since I made a claim, even then it was a minor issue, and was made to feel a criminal. Was also threatened with my policy rising because I went ahead and made claim. They passed on my details to trinity requiring me to go through whole stressful experience again. I did not appreciate I had gone through a broker which is exactly what I did not want when renewing. I experienced storm damage which resulted in loss of three tiles and part of ridge system. This happened nearly three weeks ago. Finally an assessor arrived and I was offered a cash settlement of Β£527 for work. I was angry because I was told not to get quotes as they would arrange a contractor to carry out the work. I had no idea if Β£527 would cover the work nor guarantee final cost would not be more. One quote estimated cost at Β£950. I indicated I would prefer them to arrange contractor so any extra costs would be met by them after I paid my excess. Also I would have assurance it wasnβt an unreliable or cowboy carrying out work. I am now told it will take 7 days for contractors to contact me. No doubt further delay in coming out to assess before carrying out work whilst my roof may incur further damage because of this unacceptable delay. Would never use Trinity again. Their portal is awful. Not a good experience for me so far. Iβve lost weight with stress and there is no account taken of disabilities or how older generation struggle with technology.

I have been using trinity for almost 8 years now. Always helpful and when my son broke my laptop by tripping over the cable. They sorted out the money in double quick time and allowed me to replace it for a newer model.

Submitted a claim for an electrical fire which left a whole in our sofa and sofa cushions. After weeks of jumping through hoops and dealing with the worst customer service, we are still being interrogated and asked to jump through more hoops before they will come to a decision. It feels like they are trying to make the claim process as hard as humanly possible. After we submit one piece of evidence, they wait a few days then request something else and the process repeats. Ended up cancelling the policy and the claim and ended up buying a new sofa. Utter rubbish company.

Our father had a bungalow and our claim began a long long long long long time ago !! DAD was alive and still mobile . December 17th 2022 !! Bad flood and every room under water !! Roofs caved in pretty bad!!! After a patient very patient 18months the repairs have still done been done .. carpets still not down a rotten bathroom unit still not fitted ! In August the energy certificate runs out??? Dad sadly passed away and will not see this overdue slow repair project finished !!! We are now being charged double council tax and we still can not sell due to the endless delay!!!

I called up Trinity with every intention of cancelling my insurance as I am trying to find ways to save some money. I spoke to Dan Faulker who couldn't have been more supportive and considerate of my needs. We discussed my options, my circumstances and the best option for me. I now have a more up-to-date package thay I understand and feel much more comfortable about my policy and what I am paying. Dan answered all my questions and was of a huge help.
