We booked this for NYE months in advance along with friends. We all booked through pitch up on hardstanding pitches however we only booked one night. A week before going they rang and said our pitch was flooded. Offered us to still go but not camping on a pitch, no electric guaranteed. As we have children and it's cold we picked the refund which we still haven't got. When our friends arrived they said they had double booked pitches and tried putting them on the carpark. Also it was only the grass pitches affected by flooding. I rang to complain as we booked hardstanding and shouldn't have been affected. The woman denied double booking to me and blammed pitch up for putting us on a grass pitch which clearly on our booking does not say grass pitch. I said we would still like to come if we can have electric. She said she would check what pitch we booked and would call us back. Still waiting and NYE has passed with us having to stay home. Obviously they messed up and got rid of us because we only booked one night. I wouldn't trust to book here as you wouldn't know where they will put you. Very disorganised and ruined our NYE plans. She also said they only have hard standing or grass not both but from what I've read there is grass next to your hardstanding. The phone call was all lies, customer service terrible.

Fabulous campsite with friendly people. I would definitely stop here again. Clean shower and toilet facilities. The only downside is the hard standing pitches are just wide enough for your caravan and therefore entry to your caravan is on the grass, in rainy conditions it became very boggy. So dont forget your wellies! A lovely place though and can't wait to return.

Just spent 2 nights at cherry burton leisure park, camped and had a great electric pitch. Bathrooms are super modern and clean and the bar was great, loved the local band playing on Saturday night. Pizzas in the bar were awesome. Checking in was easy and quick and we were able to extend the stay so we could let the tent dry. All the staff were lovely and the site is nice and quiet 100% recommend this site, we will be coming back!

Stayed for 4 nights. Came close to leaving after the first night due to lack of sleep. Site was clean and well kept. Toilet and shower facilities spotless so all was looking good for a nice stay. Pitch was near road that didn't look very busy and coming from a big city we are used to road noise. At approx 8 to 9 pm the road becomes a race track with boy races with very loud exhausts flying past next to caravan at crazy speeds to the early hours. Then at 6.30 the morning traffic starts. The site was quiet and apart from several seasonal pitches that were not being used. We on saw 3 other couple using the site. Why when site was so quiet the owners didn't put us on the pitches away from the road I don't know. This would have been quieter for us and encouraged us to come back to what could be a very nice site. The owners cannot be responsible for the road noise or the boy racers but the are responsible for placing you on a pitch next to the road when others are available. We had set the caravan up by the time we found out about the noise so didn't want the hassle of moving again. We will not be returning to this site unfortunately.

What a cracking site . Level pitches with good space between. You can arrive at 12 noon so can still have most of the day . A lovely bar open through weekends with breakfast to takeaway Fri sat sun morning's. The toilet/shower facilities wouldn't be amiss in a swanky hotel and so clean too . Just over an hour's walk into Beverley via the road or a little longer via old railway tracks . Beautiful area , we will definitely be here again.
