Unfotunately the women who do a good deal of administrative work there are awful. Sandra is so terrible and is insulting, even when you ask about your own money! Jill just makes excuses constantly and doesn't advocate for tenants, always opting for the owner's convenience. It is never legally terrible enough to report but enough to feel like a fool asking for your boiler to be fixed or a door fixed. Repairs get fixed even in their own time or never at all. We reported repairs at the beginning of our tenancy and they were never fixed a year later! Never mind being a good tenant or paying on time. You are treated like a nuisance. Although Phil seems nice enough, it just seems really confusing why these admin are so unhappy and unfriendly, particularly if you are a paying tenant. Prior to this letting agencies had always been eager to have us as clients, this place is a real anomaly and I have no clue how they keep any business.

I recently had a disappointing experience with CJ Property Management while trying to secure a property listed on Rightmove. After spotting a listing that perfectly matched our needs, I called on Wednesday to express strong interest and even offered to begin the application process without a viewing, as we’re currently living four hours away. Jo, who was polite and helpful, explained that this wasn’t possible and that a viewing was required before applying. I appreciated her professionalism and understanding, and she booked me in for a viewing on Friday at 2:45pm, following the completion of a short pre-viewing questionnaire. However, shortly after confirming, I was notified that my slot had been pushed back by 30 minutes. I called to confirm, and this time spoke to a different staff member whose attitude was dismissive and unhelpful. When I asked about the application process and explained how far I was traveling just to see this one property, I was met with indifference and told rather coldly that the property was not offered on a first-come-first-served basis and that multiple people were viewing it. Despite the distance, we made the journey. We viewed the property and were advised to call the agency afterward if we remained interested — which I did immediately. Unfortunately, the same staff member answered again, and his tone remained unwelcoming. He informed me, in the same dismissive manner, that 4 other applicants had already expressed interest and that my name would be added to the list, but decisions would likely be made on Monday. There were still no questions asked regarding our financials, income, or any other details that could assist a landlord in making an informed decision. On Monday morning, Jo called to inform me we had not been selected. When I politely asked what the decision was based on, no reason could be provided. I wasn’t upset about not being chosen — these things happen — but I felt compelled to share feedback about the dismissive and unprofessional attitude I experienced from one of the team members. Unfortunately, even this feedback was brushed off with a simple, uninterested “OK, thanks.” This experience left a very bad impression. I went to great lengths to accommodate this viewing, including rearranging my child’s school pickup, in hopes of helping her transition smoothly to a new home. I felt that effort was not acknowledged or respected in the slightest. An agency that respects its brand should care about its customers and be open to feedback — sadly, that was not the case here. I’m genuinely relieved we won’t be dealing further with an agency that appears to show so little regard for prospective tenants.

They rented out our property for us. Appeared to be excellent initially. Failed to properly assess or check up on our last tenants, who have the police after them, cost us more than the years rent. Very poor support in the end.

Best estate agent ever! Having dealt with rubbish ones in the past CJ Properties blow them all out the water nothing was to much and they made the entire process simple and straight forward! Cant sing there praises enough! Strongly recommend! 5* A*

We rented a property from CJ's for 5 years. They are the best letting agents we have dealt with so far - always helpful and get any repairs sorted quickly and without fuss. Would happily rent with them again and recommend them.
