My son enjoys his sessions at the country mouse nursery. He's always happy to go in and greeted by a friendly member of staff. It's great that they get outside and do lots of messy play. I think my son is relaxed and not clingy because he feels happy and secure when he's at nursery. He has lots of nice meals at nursery, often things he wouldn't necessarily have at home, so it's great he tries new things and eats together with the other children.

I love their natural approach room settings, and the emphasis on outdoor play which is so important in a countryside nursery. Our Granddaughter has attended The Country Mouse Nursery for just over a year and has grown so much in confidence and enthusiasm for exploring new things in that time. It is such a nurturing environment and the Management and Staff clearly understand and adapt to the differences in abilities and needs of the little ones in their care.

A wide range of educational and fun activities make the most of the indoor and exciting outdoor space. Activities and updates are discussed daily as well as being shared frequently through Tapestry so I always have a good insight to my son's development.

The Country Mouse nursery is a one of a kind nursery and I feel very lucky to have selected them to take care of my baby girl. Having lived half of her life in lockdown, she really struggled to fit in at first. However, the team went above and beyond to help her adjust and now she absolutely loves going there. The baby room offers such a nurturing, creative and loving environment where each day is a new adventure and she is definitely gaining so much by being there. I can tell her communication and social skills really came a long way and she loves their food, the exciting activities they always have planned and the amazing outside space. However, it was only recently that I realised how special this nursery really is. They not only want the best for their children but they also will do all they can to support you in your journey as a new parent. I am now facing a health problem that entails regular hospital appointments, some of which are booked very short notice. As I don't have any family around to help with childcare, I honestly would not have coped without the team's unconditional support and flexibility. I doubt any other local nursery would do half of what the Country Mouse nursery is doing to support us in this difficult time. If like me you just want the very best for your baby and your family then trust that this is the nursery you have been looking for.

I could not be happier with The Country Mouse, Midhurst; an excellent nursery! I love the creative approach and free play to support children’s learning and development. The nursery itself is spacious and light and the outdoor area is very well equipped too – a great space all the children seem to enjoy; bugs, mud, climbing and lots of laughing! Walks around the local area are also a favourite.
My 5 year old thrived during his time here and left full of confidence and well prepared for his next stages. My 2 year old now attends and simply loves every day. He normally goes in with ease but on the occasions where there is a wobble the team are wonderfully supportive and compassionate. I know my son is smiling moments later and they reassure me with a call if needed.
The whole team are caring, friendly and always helpful. My sons have always been happy at nursery and return home with stories of fun experiences and some ‘wonderful’ crafts!
