Wonderful experience at castle vets, veterinarian was very patient and took his time to answer all my questions so I could make an informed decision on proceeding with our family pets medical care.
Following a very difficult & emotive time, I just want to say thanks to Castle Vets for their care, kindness, skills & communications throughout, after my dog Tara experienced a vestibular event October 2025 with a subsequent diagnosis of a splenic mass in the following days. Surgery was successful in removing the mass & Tara has recovered very well. Your kindness & care has been exceptional.
My black labrador called Hunter just loves visiting the vet as he treats him like own dog and calls him by his name when he enters the surgery.
This visit was unbelievably atrocious. Our appointment had not been recorded. When I arrived with a dog, which is anxious and will not enter the surgery. I was told a vet would be with me. We waited outside in the car. A vet appeared and had to deal with another animal, but said he would be back shortly, half an hour later I had to go back into reception to find out what was happening, ten minutes later a vet arrived at the car to provide a kennel cough vaccination. After twenty five years with this surgery, I will never be back.
We have been coming to Castle vets for almost 20 years with our pets. They are just what you expect of a country practise. They know you, know and understand your pets needs and carefully research all problems and concerns. They are caring and compassionate especially when our precious pets come to end of life. I know and trust the team are there for you anytime day or night. I'm delighted to be able share this recommendation and thank the team.
